Used online booking to book for son birthday treat of paintballing for 5 people. paid and then hot an email stating that the booking isn't confirmed until we ring (office hours). APPALLING that I paid but they COULDN'T confirm. After multiple times of ringing the following day waiting for more than1/2 hour to be answered, they couldn't accommodate us as they don't do week days! Why allow the system to let you book then? Now I have to wait 3 to 4 days for a refund. So wrong to pay for something they know they can't provide and then have to wait to be reimbursed.

Terrible - charged me 350 for 10 people to book a laser tag session plus booking fee. Would’ve cost me 150 if I booked direct and that’s what bedlam paid the site (bedlam imply they own sites but they don’t). Wish I’d read the reviews prior. absolutely profiteering as no way can a booking company charge a 100 percent mark up plus booking fee.
Please note you did no research to find the site as I knew where it was, you weren’t there on the day and added no value whatsoever. Looking at your previous responses - your 7 day a week booking team were not very effective either. I had to chase you for confirmation emails so you did not save me not time, in fact you cost me time. Be very good to understand how you justify the mark up and booking fee as you weren’t clear you were an agent. Please please please everyone book directly with your local site

***in response to your short note below - my reasearch consisted of google (where you state you have first class facilities) so you guys imply it’s your sites. You are obviously a marketing company bidding on key words with no added value. Can you please explain your justification for a 100 percent mark up please. I can understand 30 percent but 100 percent plus a booking fee (which you don’t deny in any response) Can you please explain to me and others who look at this how you believe charging me 150 plus for sending two emails and making about two phone calls is fair value. Looking forward to the response.

Absolutely awful with zero integrity. I was looking for an indoor Laser Tag venue and came across Bedlam’s site in Greenwich. Please be warned, it’s not actually their venue, they are just a reseller for Bunker 51. I booked LaserTag and they charged me £35 for an hour plus a booking fee of 5%. Daylight robbery!! Please don’t make the mistake I did and book directly with Bunker 51 at £20 an hour. I can’t believe a company can rip people off in this way. Disgraceful!!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! I booked a birthday party for my son through them. I live in Oxfordshire and an internet search suggested that they ran the paintball centre local to me. The telephone conversation that I had with them seemed to confirm that. They charged me £409.50 for the booking. I later found out they are in fact a booking agency located in Scotland. If I had booked direct with the venue, rather than a parasitic company like Bedlam, it would have cost me around £260. Bedlam actually paid the real paintball organisers £180 for the booking – making a profit of £229.50 for doing next to nothing. Obviously outraged when I found out, I called Bedlam to ask for an explanation. They told me that it was my fault for not doing enough research and its “buyer beware”. Well buyer, do beware of these sharks and avoid at all costs.

I told you when and where I wanted to make the booking and you clicked a few buttons on your computer and jacked up the price ridiculously. Don't pretend you offer any kind of service, you don't. Party is due on the 18th July for my sons 9th bday, which I’m sure will be great HOWEVER I did not realise this was though a 3rd party - had I booked through the actual company on site it would have been under half the price for EXACTLY the same! The reason given for the hike…..you get to call us for information!!!! This is for Huntingdon venue. Make sure you go through the actual company on site not these rip off merchants!

Charging £150 extra for something I could have booked direct with the people on site does not constitute a reasonable excuse for that high a price hike - my child had nothing extra added on and in actual fact we were completely left to it with no customer service at all. I searched laser tag on google - only Bedlam came up - I selected boxes on the website and purchased it with a phone call - does NOT cost £150 to do that. Complete waste of time - do not use this company to book for the one in Huntingdon - do your own research first!!

The actual booking was great, but I'd called the day before to get prices and was told it was a minimum of 8 children for the venue. I was then informed the following day that it was actually a minimum of 10 children. So cost me £50 more than I initially thought.

Horrendous, rude, liers. I booked paintball but they have charged me near double to what the actual cost is at that venue?! Credit card company now involved and are refunding the difference. NEVER USE THEM

Booked a paintball session at a venue near London and paid in advance. On the day of the game, the venue owner didn’t know about the booking. It turned out that the place was completely independent and operated under a different name. I contacted Bedlam no response yet. Total scam.

Went to book in Norwich on another company called Nationwide paintballing. When I called them I was told that company no longer exists and the norwich site was closed despite showing as available on the dates I was looking at. The price at this site was £9 a ticket, however after being told the nearest site was Thetford and the company was Bedlam the price jumped to £15 per ticket excluding VAT. Bit of a shock but once I got over that I was able to book. The chap on the phone didn't seem too keen on the whole event and didn't ask if it was a stag or anything in particular so potentially missed out on an upsell as this is indeed a stag do.

Great service They did all work and got me booked in to venue at the last minute.

This company do not own a single paintball site, there false representation of their company online is fraudulent, this has been reported to trading standards who are looking into the company, dont make my mistake go direct to the paintball site you want to visit, these guys just book it for you and charge 15 per person extra than the actual company will, it is a fraudulent scam, this is not a large company it’s is run by two scammers, don’t book! just search the site and ring the actual company.

Unfortunately in my case the information provided before the booking was incorrect, I was told that cancelling would incur a 15 cancellation fee ( which I was happy with) soon as the payment was made they will email you there terms and conditions, this states no refunds at all. Poor customer service, save money just go direct.

The fact they are an inflated ticket booking service is omitted from there website, they imply they own the sites for which they don’t.

Would never recommend this company to anybody, honest mistake made, payed a large deposit, realised after a half hour, phoned company back and explained what had happened and the person that made the booking was dyslexic, the managers reply was I’m dyslexic to and processed to say that my son was an idiot for not reading the small print but terms and conditions stand, not only that they should not off accepted the booking as they were in level 4 and taking money from people that were in level 2 that thought they were going to there own county that was in level 2, this company should be investigated by the way they conduct there business, and retrained on there customer service, no refund

These guys are a joke. I've spent over an hour on the phone, and multiple phone calls trying to book a paintballing birthday party. The guys on the other end of the phone don't know anything, no idea of availability, not sure where their locations are. They just don't care. The website won't search by location, you can't book by time, no idea of pricing for paintball packs, no information on parties. Total joke. Booking with Campaign instead.

I booked for 15 lads three weeks ago and tonight I have only just been told the system went down and out booking didn’t come through! This is 4 days before 15 of us was due to go! The guy I spoke to on phone didn’t even sound bothered as he sounded like he was happy munching food while on phone to me! He gave me a choice of re booking and as I explained there is 15 lad that have managed to change plans and get baby sitters for kids etc! Said I wanted to speak to a manager and his response was , they will say the same as him! Asked about some sort of discount or free paint balls to re book and he said no! Shocked to how we have all been treated like that!

Let me book and pay online for a day they aren't even open. Only when calling to confirm as advised was told it wasn't on the day I had booked for and had to get a refund which then takes 5 days to go back into bank account. Very poor booking system

I and my friend booked to go paintballing through this company. Awful customer service. Do not respond to emails or calls. If you book you might as well forget about your money. Oh and do not believe their replies to reviews on this website. They replied to my friend's review saying the situation was resolved but he still hasn't heard from them.
