They will without a doubt steal your…

They will without a doubt steal your money. Money has been leaving my beatstars publishing account for well over a year and none of it was paid to me. They wont allow me to close the account and continue to make money off of my music.

Good support despite my mistake

I had an issue with my subscription renewal that was honestly my mistake, as I didn’t realize it would renew automatically.

Even though their policy states that payments are non-refundable, the support team at BeatStars was very understanding and offered me a fair solution by downgrading my plan and providing a partial refund.

I have been using Beatstars a lot…

I have been using Beatstars a lot recent years, Spending thousands of dollars on beats. However, along the way i´ve noticed how they massively favour the producer of the beat over the artist buying it. The thing that concerns me the most is the fact when you buy a lease, you dont even own that forever, you would have to extend in many cases in 5-10-15 years. That is a crazy model if your track actual got real streams, and you would then have to come back in 10 years and renew the lease. Who hasn´t tried losing their login details for a site and never finding it again? And what about the possibility that beatstars closes? If your answer is, that in these situations the responsibility entirely falls upon the purchasing artist, it is once again an example for me that you dont really value the people buying on your site. I hope to get a response! P.S - i love the beats i can find on beatstars, many great producers upload there, but i will have to actively look for other options if i keep finding beats i like that i however will have to renew in 10 years time.

Some leases are time-limited, while others are not. There are also options such as unlimited leases or exclusive licenses, depending on what the producer offers. These terms are clearly outlined in the license agreement before purchase, so artists can choose what works best for their long-term plans.

That said, we completely understand why long-term security matters, especially if a song gains significant traction years later. Your point about login access and platform longevity is valid, and we strongly recommend that artists always download and securely store their license agreements and purchase receipts after checkout for their own records.

We truly value the artists who power this marketplace just as much as the producers. Your feedback is important, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it thoughtfully.

Millionth time this happens. "Abandoned Cart - Checking transaction" when I choose to pay. And it stacks there. Having so high taxes is ridiculous by itself but not being able to pay....
