Bought 3 x 18v Bosch batteries with an open mind ie they are cheap enough to try. Sure enough x two charged up ok and seem to be good so far, one though is a complete dud! NO way is it taking a charge it barely gets to two bars on the power light and wont operate anything.
I emailed them 72 hours ago and still have heard nothing.
Both Ryobi 18 Volt batteries that I ordered from batteryfactory_8 were defective.I messaged the company and informed them of the problem and all they wanted to do was offer me a 30% refund to drop the issue. I informed them that I am requesting two batteries that aren't defective.At that point they ignored all future emails from me. The batteries that initially were sent to me were "junk" and the same size as the Ryobi 4ah batteries from the Ryobi Factory.I ordered 8ah extended life batteries.
Ordered a generic Milwaukee type battery charger from them. It showed up quickly, but when i tried to use it, it would not charge any of my 3 generic batteries, but would charge my 1 original Milwaukee battery. I contacted them and they fobbed me off, stating their chargers only charge genuine batteries - despite the fact that they sell generic batteries... No offer of any help or assistance. I bought a generic charger elsewhere, and it charges my generic batteries perfectly.
We purchased a Dyson vacuum battery in good faith only for it to fail on the first cycle.
Reputable companies I have dealt with on the internet have always provided a label number where a buyer can not only return a faulty product freight free but the onus then falls on that company if the parcel is lost.
BFO failed to provide a AP label and we were forced to pay a further $16.00 to post it back to an address they provided. This was for a battery of no monitory value.
The parcel was then declared lost by AP as I believe the return address given to us by BFO didn't exist. They then advised us to make a claim on AP for the value of the purchase price which we refused to do because the battery was dead and of no monitory value which would make any claim fraudulent.
They refused to refund our money
My advice is to steer well clear of Battery Factory Outlet and save yourself money and stress.
Ordered 2 Ryobi 36V Battery 8.0Ah Replacement | BPL3626 Lithium-ion Battery With LED 18/12/2025 Batteries received were incorrect (6.0Ah) and did not work. BFO have done everything to obfuscate their responsibility and avoid providing return details or a reasonable solution to the purchase. I have provided video showing the issue as they requested - since then NOTHING - zero response. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS DISREPUTABLE BUSINESS!!!
BFO sent me two Ryobi batteries, 5AH. They are Excellent batteries. One of the batteries wasn't even fully charged and I did the lawn with it, used it in the edger (strimmer) and then topped up the battery to fully charged. The prices are significantly lower than Ryobi. I have been on YouTube for 18+ years and I put my name behind this brand. Very happy with my batteries from BFO.
This company is not in Australia. It's from China and they sell junk. Takes ages to get your delivery.
I bought 2 Milwaukee 12Ah batteries from this site which claim to be in Australia. In fact they import copy batteries from China. Both batteries failed on first use. I have spent several weeks trying to get my money back. Do not buy from this business they sell rubbish and you won't get a refund.
