Never gave me a delivery date. Charged my credit card in full at time of online ordering. According to California consumer laws, a company cannot do this until the item was shipped. Tried to contact them after 10 days to get an estimate for delivery. No response. Called to cancel, just got voicemail. Left a message to cancel, then followed up next morning to send them an email cancelling. They responded they couldn't cancel because it was a custom item. NO WHERE ON THIS WEBSITE INDICATES THIS IS CUSTOM JEWELRY. It was a simple child's necklace I selected from a picklist. They said to expect delivery in another couple weeks. 30 days for an order? If I knew this, I would never have ordered from them. They said they couldn't cancel the order and they were still going to ship. Can you believe that? Deceptive practices. Do not order from these people.

I purchased a set of "gold" hoop earrings in July of 2024. They didn't stay clasped so I can't wear them. Should have known better but then in December of 25 I bought a diamond "gold" crawler earring. it was gorgeous--HOWEVER, I've never had a problem with metal allergy or anything and this earring, within one hour of wear, caused my ear to swell and turn red and oozy. I've fought with them tooth and nail and they refuse to acknowledge that it is not a true 14k solid gold and they will not give me a refund. They offered a return for store credit after endless complaints and emails. Got a "gold" bracelet in exchange for both the hoops and the crawler. The bracelet seems cheap, very lightweight, no way it is solid gold. I've learned my lesson but I'm out $700 as the absolutely refuse to give me a refund. Kicking myself, but putting this here so others can know NOT TO BUY FROM BABY GOLD. I wouldn't buy anything. Prices seem sort of reasonable if it was truly solid gold, but the quality is VERY POOR.

I ordered a dainty gold necklace for my wife. The clasp broke after three days. Instead of simply replacing it immediately, I sent it back for repair along with the required photos and narrative and was told the repair would be 4 to 8 weeks. When I complained, they said it would be two weeks. I then gave the address that I wanted the item returned to me at and instead, they sent it to another address for me that they had on file! Now the $550 item is sitting someplace that I am not present at. What a pain! Terrible, terrible customer service.

Don't waste time and money with this company.

The quality of the product is as expected for the price. This is not expensive jewelry. But their return policy is not well stated--be aware there are no returns, only store credit or exchanges. This is not obvious in their return policy wording--a bit vague and easy to overlook unless you read it from that angle to begin with, so be aware.

What's hilarious is that customer service, while responsive enough, never tells you that you cannot get a refund. They give you a thousand different reasons or alternatives to solve your issue, but they never outright say, "no" you cannot get refunded. Such a waste of everyone's time.

My issue was that the gold color was not what I expected, so I wanted my money back. I had a previous purchase from them so I was a repeat customer! Who knows, maybe they changed their alloy formulation since the last time. Either way, I wasn't returning because I simply changed my mind.

To me, I would think any reputable company would want to make things right with a customer regardless of the reason. Lesson learned for me--I will not be ordering from them again.

I had a very positive experience with Babygold. I have purchased many pieces, but only once did I have to contact customer service. They promptly responded and worked out a sizing issue. Received my bracelet and I am very happy with it. All my purchases have been positive and the jewelry is beautiful. I have shopped many an online jeweler, and comparing Babygold to others I would say they have been excellent in comparison to many others. Babygold jewelry is trendy yet timeless, has a lifetime warranty and has beautiful pieces at many price points. These bad ratings don’t do it justice,

Bought for my wife a bunch of stuff. In the pics the two rings I bought they were bigger same with the necklace. They had no weight in the description but they looked like a fair size. Same with the earrings. The earrings are a nice size in the pics and in person once I receive all Items. The jewelry arrived at home both rings and the necklace looks like fishing string so tinny. For the money I paid very disappointing. I tried to rerun them and it says those items are not returnable even though on the website it says they are unless it’s something custom with name/initials which none apply to me. Very disappointing I am going to try to have my cc to dispute this scam.. don’t buy from them unless you want some super thin and cheap products. If they don’t have a weight and size don’t buy! I learned my lesson with this damn website!

Ordered two necklaces on 5/25. Fast forward to today, (two weeks of waiting), it has yet to be sent. Contacted them right away today to cancel because obviously who has time to wait for jewelry for more than 2 weeks? of course they said can't cancel. They need someone to pay for their junk products and support their shady business! This company is a sh*tty company. Stay clear!

Their website will say quick shipping but it already took almost 4 weeks and yet to received the item. Its like a scammer that will tell you that you cant cancel the order because its already been ordered but still need 3 weeks to finish the item which is purely non sense.

sent junk and said no refunds , only store credit . had to buy more of their garbage . total scam , avoid totally

As a retailer primarily selling online, this company needs to significantly simplify returns and make the experience much better for the customer.

Due to sub-standard customer experience when trying to get assistance for a repair, I abandoned my request. I will not be continuing as a customer.

Would not recommend. The website is misleading and their lifetime guarantee is a bunch of BS. They make it nearly impossible to get something exchanged or fixed. A gold bangle bracelet was hollow - which the listing does not state - so it dented SUPER easily. Then they gave me SO MUCH grief for wanting to exchange for something else (within a month of having it). ALSO, I reviewed that bracelet which was negative - they NEVER posted the negative review. So dishonest and deceptive.

Baby gold advertised to buy by a certain date to get it by Mother’s Day. Item still has not shipped. I contacted them and they said that there was a delay and the item would only ship by May 10th …… but I would get the item in a Mother’s Day box. Did they contact me to tell me it would be late AND WOULDNOT ARRIVE BY MOTHERSDAY? NO! I HAD TO CONTACT THEM.
I have had numerous TERRIBLE experiences with this business and I was stupid enough to give them a second chance.

They count on you getting tired of the fight so they can keep your money in their 'store credit' trap. Check the 160+ BBB complaints before you give them a dime.

I bought a zodiac coin necklace and it’s honestly so beautiful I’ve already got so many compliments.
The quality is really good, and I also got free shipping and great packaging, which was a nice bonus. Customer service answered all my questions too, which helped a lot because I was a bit unsure at first. Now I feel really confident about my choice. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be buying from Baby Gold again!.

If I could give them a zero I would. My husband purchased a gold bracelet for Valentine’s. They even said it would be here for Valentine’s Day. It’s April 13, 2026 and we still haven’t received the bracelet we bought. We are finally going to cancel the order. Hope we get our money back. Do not buy anything from Baby Gold.
