My wife and I stayed at The Azia for the third time since last Sept 1924. The hotel is an excellent position with beautiful lawns overlooking the sea and where you can get away from all the action in the swimming pool. The food is excellent and the Katoi is just the best, Nino and her wonderful team including Joanna, Inga, Irina, Alice, Maheedi, Shaheeri and all the others are just amazing and cannot do enough for you. Our room on the second floor was overlooking the swimming pool with amazing sunsets every evening.
The room was kept clean with all the accesories you could want our room lady always asked if we needed any thing each day and more staff came round in the evening to check we were happy with a chocolate thrown in for good measure.
Well done The Azia for another excellent holiday.

We stayed at the Azia for 12 nights while getting married in Cyprus and chose the all-inclusive option. Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were lovely, and the staff were great at communicating. One of the main reasons we chose Azia was because of the glowing spa reviews, and I can say the treatments were fantastic, super relaxing and such a lovely experience. However, I did notice that each treatment ended around 10–15 minutes earlier than the time booked, which was disappointing considering we had paid for 80-minute sessions.

Unfortunately, we also had ongoing issues with housekeeping. I requested that our bed sheets be changed as they had visible makeup stains, but even after speaking with reception and asking multiple times, the sheets were never properly changed only remade, with the stains still there.

Another issue came with the midnight room service. After our wedding party, we tried to order pizzas but were told they had run out of food. The manager did apologise, but a few days later when we tried again, reception told us there was no pizza and no food available at all. After we complained and asked to speak with the manager, we later received a call to say the chef could make us pizza after all, which left us confused as to why this wasn’t checked in the first place.

When I raised my concerns about the spa and housekeeping, reception did offer us a complimentary back massage, which I appreciated and changed the bedsheets. That said, these issues did take away from what could have been a flawless experience.

While we had an overall good stay, I don’t think we would choose to return to Azia in the future.

Booked a very last minute get away (under 18h from booking to departure) with my mum and daughter as a much needed getaway. Was unsure how my daughter would manage as she’s not a massive fan of loud or busy areas and would usually like to go somewhere with multiple pool areas to choose from. However, Azia did not let us down. There were sun-beds placed spaciously away from one another on the grass area just 20 feet or so from the pool. They’re placed under small copses of palm trees and have another area a little further on which overlooks the sea, on a mini island/ beach. Perfect for those who need it quieter than the main pool area. The pool itself is a good size, clean, a lovely temperature and has zoned areas for little ones, a swim up bar a good size main pool area. There are exercise classes held in the pool on a morning and various activities / games throughout the day.

The catering staff in the buffet restaurant have been phenomenal. My daughter is dairy free and I believe there were several others with food allergies present the same week we were at Azia. Nothing was too much, service was always prompt and with a smile regardless of how busy everyone was and hot incredibly hot it was. The food was incredible, delicious meals which were varied each night. Themed to different countries - Mexican, Italian, Cypriot, international etc etc.

You have the option of eating either inside or outside. We always chose outside, the view of the sunset was just too beautiful to miss, and the stars in the sky were like diamonds sparkling.

Nino, Joanna and Sofia who work in the restaurant are phenomenal. Nino has a heart of gold and she welcomed my family to Azia like we were one of her own. Cyprus has such a lot to offer, it is truly a beautiful country.

Thank you for giving us such a wonderful week. I was really quite sad to leave.

We returned from the most wonderful
2 week holiday at this lovely hotel resort . We arrived late and was greeted with such lovely staff who took us to our room which was a sea view suite that was so lovely . Views amazing .
The food was outstanding but what stood out the most was the staff at this resort .
Nino was most wonderful lady and her adorable staff including Joanne , savina and all the boys and girls too many to mention . But all staff were totally amazing fabulous best ever . Thank you for making this best memories . The bar staff at pool Titu and Izza and Daniel were so professional

Write but they were all so helpful so brilliant at their job .
Our room cleaner Titi was so good so kind and very efficient too .

We returned home from a lovely week last night at this hotel:

- Beautiful location with amazing sunsets.
- We had an adult area premium room and booked a mountain view, but ended up with a sea view so very happy.
- Very good pool areas and plenty of loungers to use throughout the day.
- The Oku Asian restaurant was the best a la carte.
- Some staff were very professional and helped wherever they could.
- The 30 minute massage were received was fantastic .

Had a fantastic week at the Aria hotel & spa, the room was spacious with a beautiful sea view. The food was amazing, a different theme every night. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
A special mention to the family entertainment duo Christianos and Lila who were great fun and made the stay that extra bit special for us and our kids.

For many years now this is the only place I have wanted to spend my annual holiday. It's almost like a second home and catching up with family each year.
The welcome on arrival is so warm and friendly and I cannot fault the staff or hotel facilities.
Rooms are very comfortable and well looked after each day.
The choice of food at the buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner is excellent, as is the service from the staff who run it.
When busy around the pool area there is always ample space and sun loungers available in the huge surrounding gardens, with a perfectly relaxing view of the beautiful sea.
The first time I stayed in this hotel I knew I would keep coming back and that's a huge plus when travelling as a single person.
All the staff I had dealings with this year deserve a mention but unfortunately I do not know some of their names.
So, to mention but a few, and in no particular order, my sincere thanks to Elena, Ioanna, Nino (and all her staff), Christina, Oana, (little) Alex (pool gardens) Rodoulla, Joseph, Daria, Jamie (maintenance), the ladies who cleaned my room and the porter who dealt with my luggage.

Maybe I should mention the reliable sunny weather too.
Will I be returning next year? You bet! Can't wait.

Well what can I say I've been on dozens of holidays an this is up there at the top by far. Only stayed a aweek I'm so sad I left when my vacation was up this hotel should be 10 star atleast honestly best hotel & exspricance I've had whilst abroad the staff the chefs are just magnificent they was like family this is up there by far way way far..

The hotel was amazing, first class service and the food could not be any better , special thank you too elena our house keeper and plamen our bar man that waited on us hand and foot , 5 stars and Dominic the events team

I have enjoyed countless holidays at the Azia over the past 20 years, usually as a solo guest, however, I visited again in June this year with my granddaughter and the Hotel never disappoints.
We were warmly welcomed by Ioanna, Guest Relations Manager and Elena, Front Desk Manager and given a cool drink from Oana in the Cava Bar, before taking a late lunch in the Katoi Restaurant where we were given a further warm welcome from Nino and Christina.
That's all the name dropping for now so apologies to all the other wonderful staff whose names are too many to mention and are always smiling, polite and pleased to help whenever needed.
This Hotel is maintained to an exceptionally high standard, all public areas, bedrooms and gardens are spotlessly cleaned. The choice of restaurants and quality and variety of food is outstanding (compliments to the chefs who are always
approachable).
In fact, after 20 years, I cannot fault the Azia Hotel and Spa in any way and look forward to returning in September.

We stayed for a week in half-pension. All the staff were very friendly, providing us with recommendations on what to do in Cyprus and how to make the most of our week. They facilitated the car rental and a tourist guide. The food and dining service were excellent, with a different theme every day and all the flavors were quite delicious. The hotel offers an incredible view directly to the Mediterranean sea, with beach chairs and access to Sandy Beach, which is a great place to learn how to surf, swim in the sea, and have a bit of a party. There were activities every evening during our stay, a bar with live music and an adults-only area with a private pool.

Yet another amazing holiday at the beautiful Azia. This was our 21st consecutive year so that shows how much we love the place!
Why?
Well, there’s the people, the grounds, the food, the service, the atmosphere…
I don’t normally name individuals in my reviews but felt compelled this year. Many of the staff have been there for years and have become friends. Some we can’t communicate with as, embarrassingly, our Greek is practically non-existent. But that doesn’t matter. We greet each other year after year with warm recognition. Stalwarts of the hotel have to be mentioned. Rodoulla who’s in charge of housekeeping and so many additional aspects of the hotel now that she never stops. But her caring nature means that she will always make time to sort guests’ needs and ensure that they have all they want in their room. The same must be said for the ever affable Ioanna, Guest Relations. Apart from the hours in her office you’ll find her at breakfast proactively asking guests if there’s anything she can do. Both these ladies have the same ethos that they care so much that they willingly go out of their way to make each guest feel special and ensure they have a wonderful holiday. Good to see that Ioanna now has Georgia to ably assist her. Nino in the Katoi restaurant is another who is always calm and accommodating, even if numerous unexpected guests appear for dinner – she and her team will cope, always with a smile. Then there’s Elena, Front Office Manager. As she’s always busy in her office, we didn’t see too much of her this year unfortunately but we know she’s there if we need her, though her Reception team are always very helpful and efficient.
Apologies to all those I haven’t named, you are too numerous to include everyone but please be assured that you all contribute to making our holiday so special each year.
Bar staff this year were all friendly and welcoming, even those who were new to the job were keen to learn. If they weren’t too busy they’d stop for a chat and we found it fascinating to hear of their future plans and dreams. Heading them up was the genial Viorel as new Bar Manager, a great addition to the team. We were so pleased to see Plamen back racing around the garden! Unfortunately he was away during our stay last year but even after that time and the number of guests he serves, without prompting he remembered what we liked to drink and when - amazing! Another true asset to the hotel.
As ever, the food within the hotel and its various restaurant options was exceptional. Panayiotis and his team seem to make it better every year. Each evening dinner on the Katoi terrace is differently themed from Mexican to BBQ, though not restricted as there’s always plenty of alternatives on offer. In fact there’s invariably so much choice it’s impossible to take a modest portion without preplanning what you’re going to choose! This trick we’ve learned over the years. OKU is still a firm favourite for its Asian cuisine which is cooked to order in an open kitchen and delicious. We also really enjoyed the traditional Meze on Tree Deck cooked by Stelios. Again, you have to pace yourself as each course brings more local delights. The tranquil, adults only, setting is also a joy. Additionally, we would thoroughly recommend the Akamas Terrace flambé steak. The quality of meat was superb and cooked to perfection.
Certainly Andreas, the new Operations Manager, seems to have made a significant input, particularly in the à la carte restaurant areas. He would often give his time in the evening to sit and chat with guests. Another interesting character!
All this under the leadership of Albert, the General Manager. We were so pleased to see him again this year. He evidently has an appropriate vision for the Azia and his experience shows. A true professional quietly and efficiently overseeing and bringing out the best from his troops.
The other major aspect of the hotel are the unique grounds. The gardens are magnificent and extensive, giving ample space for sunbathing without being cheek by jowl. Certainly you can sit around the enormous pool if you wish, with its swim-up bar, but we prefer the gardens which are more peaceful and relaxing. Or there’s the adults only pool – smaller but perfect for a cooling dip. This has its own sunbathing area and adjacent bar.
I hope this review has given you an idea of why we and many others love this hotel. To us it’s unique and very special and we certainly look forward to our 22nd visit next year!

Currently at the resort and just had to write this review. Last night we were booked into the a la carte meze restaurant. It was a horrendously bad meal & service all round, not what I'd call a premium service in anyway at all. Every person we have spoken to has said the same.
The hotel and pool it's self are lovely and a couple of the staff are brilliant but overall I wouldn't return because of how everything is run. We were supposed to get a free massage per room (weird when there's 2 of you sharing) but you couldn't get booked in anyway. On arrival we tried to book the a la Carte and nothing was available, it was only because we asked at reception and moaned about we managed to get in. I'd say overall, its a struggle to get served drinks in the bar due to the staff not being as vigilant and on the ball as you would imagine for a 5star hotel. It also states online there is a beach with free sun loungers, it's NOT a beach. There is a lack of toilets around the hotel as a whole too.

Just come back from a return visit to the wonderful Azia Resort in Cyprus. The staff are the best! Ioanna, the customer service manager, is the hardest working person I know, I wonder if she ever goes home, always on site checking everyone is happy. Others deserving a mention are Neeno, Maitre D and Rosie head of housekeeping and the ever cheerful Pavlos at the bar. Every single member of staff had a smile on their face and made us welcome. Can’t wait to see them all again!

The best hummus EVER!

Azia holiday resort and spa was an awful experience. The hotel is beautiful to look at and the food was very good.

However, the staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming. They got gluten free options wrong and their symbols on the options that were supposed to be gluten free were out of date. My friend who accompanied us almost ate a food which had gluten in it which detailed it was gluten free until she double checked herself with the chef. This could have put her in hospital as she has a severe reaction to it.

My partner drowned in the pool and there was no medical assistance to help. Luckily I am trained in advanced first aid and was able to give him immediate help. No staff attempted to help with the situation and watch me try and recover him, along with my friend, at the side of the pool. No apology was given by the hotel or staff, nor did anyone check up on him or show any compassion when he was thankfully recovered and sent to hospital. Even after the event, no one approached us from the customer service staff and when I went to raise my concerns about the lack of first aid on scene, I was met with hostility and uncompassionate responses. The hotel staff were quick to tell me that due to covod they could not go near him even though it was an emergency and when I pointed out that threat to life should not be effected by covid policies they accused me of being sensitive. I almost lost my partner at the side of their pool....I was devastated by their response and how they tried to blame myself, my partner and covid for their lack of response. This could have been a child!

Further to this a bottle of gin that was personal purchased in the UK was taken from our room, this was never recovered or replaced by the staff.

I'm heartbroken with the way my partner and I were treated and I would like the hotels health and safety measures investigated.
