We used this company for a corporate event in December. The event itself was managed by Sam who massively let us down through the whole process. We addressed at the time we wanted the event to run smoothly as in these challenging times it was to cheer everyone up and of course we would normally have celebrated in person. The event was unorganised from day 1. We spent time before the event as instructed putting people into break out groups which the hosts on the day knew nothing about. The event was last starting as the hosts were not prepared. We were not advised that certain web browsers would stop the event functioning which meant the event itself was over 20 minutes late starting. Mid way through the event people were kicked off the system and then put back into any break out room, meaning they were no longer with the people they had been with from the start. We had cocktails delivered as part of the event some cocktails didn’t turn up and one person even stated they had an allergy to alcohol but were sent one containing alcohol. I wouldn’t recommend using this company.

Fantastic virtual evening for our employee Christmas party. From start to finish Ava were professional and responsive. We were given plenty of time to 'test the tech' with our staff beforehand which allowed for a smooth event with plenty of support on the night.
The 'host' was the ultimate professional and ran the event with huge enthusiasm which rubbed off on everyone (along with the alcohol - us not them :o) I would highly recommend using Ava Experience and will certainly look to use them again for either a virtual or in-person event.

Excellent Virtual Cocktail making experience. Our Guide was very knowledgable with some great stories to tell and made it a very interactive experience. There were only 9 couples so we wondered if it would work but it was very interactive and everyone interacted well. Despite being virtual we all feel that we had had a good night out!

We booked a cocktail event through AVA Experience for our Work Xmas party. Initial contact with them was impressive and well organised, so much so we didn't hesitate to book and were very excited for the event.

Unfortunately the co-ordination of the event was quite the opposite:
- We had been given the option to 'personalise' our cocktails with names that were relevant to our company. We loved this idea but when the kits arrived there was no 'whats in your box' card nor did our host even mention the names. This was really dissapointing.
- The kits arrived 2/3 days late, meaning we had to re-arrange our whole event. The event had been in our teams calendars for months and after such a tough year, it was such a shame to have to tell everyone (The day before) that the event needed to be moved, causing disappointment and frustration for everyone. I understand this was a courier issue and Ava did what they could to get our event booked back in which I was grateful for. I do believe this could have been avoided if kits were sent our earlier and there was better communications (Both internal and external).
- We were promised our event would be hosted by Twist London's owner as to compensate for our bad experience with the delivery of the kits but he wasn't our host when the event started - our host was good but it was a little disappointing we didn't get the owner.
- Our host (Who was great!) seemed very disorganised and flustered at the start of our event. He didn't actually have the ingredients with him until the 2nd drink which made it hard to follow. His excellent hosting skills fortunately aided him in this and he carried the event like a pro.

All in all the team enjoyed the event but we were left feeling a little flat after all the stress and disappointment we felt in the lead up to it. I should add I've since spoken to the team who have offered a discount if we were to book again.

I'd like to shout out Samuel McCarthy. He worked tirelessly in sorting out a new date for us when everything went wrong. Thanks Sam.

It was an excellent experience that flew by! Everyone messaged me afterwards saying how much fun they had and we all felt that Charlie was so engaging and inclusive and made everyone on the call feel involved.

I organised the online gameshow at fairly short notice and the team were very accommodating. Response times were quick, everything was explained clearly and our team really enjoyed the event.

We used ava experience for the first time  for our virtual xas party, communication was excellent from initial enquiry until the end of the party. The Hosts were ace and got everyone engaged and entertained us all. would highly recommend it. Rachell - Wattbike

The experience that we did (virtual magic show) was excellent – we’ve had great feedback from our guests. Paul Fowler was excellent and pitched everything really well for the audience - very impressive. The team at Ava Experience were also great – extremely responsive, helpful and professional. It was great value for money. We’d definitely recommend both Paul and Ava Experience to others.

The Bingo was fab - Charlie was absolutely hilarious, and made sure to keep the whole group engaged throughout. I would highly recommend.

I was really skeptical at how a magic show would translate into a virtual environment but I was blown away by Paul! He made it really interactive and fun. As well as showcasing his exceptional skills and talent. Paul made our Christmas party!

Great to work with from booking through to online delivery! We had a fab Christmas celebration!

For our works Christmas Do, online this year due to Covid, we engaged the Magician Paul Fowler. He was incredible , his tricks, persona and the whole show , thoroughly engaging and mesmerising, 100% recommended, cannot wait to do it again

A fantastic, well organised event.

Disappointing experience, endangered the whole Christmas party. Though the offer on the website is great, their client service is below par to say the least. I asked to set up a call to go over some options, but was told we could only chat via email as they were "too busy". They also said they can't take reservations, only bookings directly. We sorted everything out ourselves, sent them an email with the date and time we wanted as well as specifications. They confirmed but with the wrong time (i had specified CET yet they wrote BST), when i replied to correct this (minutes after) they said they were fully booked, leaving me hanging with no alternative for our Christmas party with only a week and a half to go. Really frustrating experience as i'd loved to work with them for numerous occasions. We ended up having to go for a competitor company charging 10x what ava would have.

We worked with Ava to arrange and deliver three virtual Christmas escape room events. All three session took place on same day, which gave all of our Global team the opportunity to take part.

The team were timely, in responding to any questions I had in advance and on the day and were flexible when dealing with last minute requests.

On the day of the sessions the team delivered with enthusiasm and great energy. The sessions were really well received by our colleagues.

Constructively, the only slight issue that arose was the need to appoint 'operators' prior to each session. However, the organisers were flexible in approach and it was not an issue the participants would have been aware of. Thank you for a great experience!

Excellent afternoon - fun, relaxing and entertaining - very talented !

We had an alternative work Christmas lunch, in the form of the cocktail masterclass. Great event. There were 16 of us, all good feedback from everyone. Really nice cocktail box that came out to everyone before the event. The host was really friendly and knowledgeable. Nice and relaxed, and we all picked up a little something, even if it was a slight hangover!

The magician is phenomenal! The team absolutely loved the performance. I cannot believe that we were all so amazed virtually as well. Thank you

The Drag Queen Bingo was undoubtedly the closest thing to a party you could get on Zoom. Charlie Hides was a brilliant host; professional, fun, entertaining, hilarious and enthusiastic. Just what was needed to bring some Christmas cheer back and thoroughly enjoyed by our 125 attendees. The team at AVA were also excellent and highly professional. Highly recommended for large groups.

We chose the online horse racing for our virtual Christmas party. It was great fun and really easy to join and take part.
