I would strongly caution anyone considering Skyy Transport LLC or Auto Shipping Group for vehicle transportation services.

My original pickup date was scheduled for June 22. Prior to pickup, the company contacted me and asked if I could move the pickup date and time to accommodate their driver. Although it was an inconvenience, I agreed to have my vehicle picked up on Father’s Day between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to help them out.

Unfortunately, the driver did not arrive until approximately 7:45 PM, nearly two hours after the agreed-upon window.

The communication and delivery process only became more frustrating from there. On Thursday at 3:12 PM, I received a text asking whether Friday or Saturday would work for delivery. I responded that Friday would be great, but Saturday would also be acceptable.

Now I am being told that my vehicle may not arrive until Monday, June 29. The repeated schedule changes, lack of reliability, and inability to provide accurate delivery timelines have made this experience extremely disappointing.

As a customer, I adjusted my schedule multiple times to accommodate the transportation company, but the same courtesy was not extended in return. If you rely on your vehicle arriving when promised, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

BEWARE. Based on my experience, I would not use Skyy Transport LLC or Auto Shipping Group again, nor would I recommend them to family, friends, or colleagues.

My experience with Auto Shipping Group was disappointing. When I called for a simple update regarding my vehicle pickup, I was met with rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional communication from a representative named Travis. The explanation provided regarding the pickup of my Tesla from the New Orleans Service Center was confusing and did not make sense. Customer service should be courteous and helpful, especially when customers are seeking basic information. I encourage management to review the recorded call and address these concerns.

I made a car purchase in another state, so I needed someone to ship the car back to me. This place seemed like a pretty choice...at the time. Little did I know how much of a headache it was going to be. The initial quote ended up being $1299 for an enclosed trailer. Alright. One week goes by, the dispatcher gives me barely any updates, bascially sends me a generic email message they send everyone at the same time. Second week goes by, and same old generic message with no real update. Then the 3rd week goes by, and its the same old dumb generic message. I did reach out a few times to the dispatcher, of course. But I was just met with the broken promise that "we will find one for sure, please be patient." Well eventually I reached out and complained about the wait time. It had been 3 weeks to no avail. That was just unacceptable plain and simple. Well the dispatcher started changing the story/actually telling me what the hell was making this take so long: The quote is too low and no carrier wanted to take it, plus gas was going up. So logically you would raise the quote above that threshold to make it more appealing. Well because these guys are so lazy, they only raised it by $100. Knowing what had already taken place and knowing it would just sit for another 3 weeks, I cancelled. Absolutely useless company. Don't give them your money!

The initial contact was great. He explained they were a broker and they offered the shipment to their pool of trusted shippers. They only use reputable shippers. They could not say who the shipper would be but assured me the shipper would have insurance to cover any damage. These are shippers they regularly work with. I would go through the shippers insurance company. I got an email from ASG informing me my shipment had been assigned and to expect delivery in 7 days. My car arrived in CA from VA in 6 days much to my delight. To my dismay, it had a flat front tire. I had to pay the truck driver in cash for delivery of my car, was not given a receipt and was told they don't cover tires. Read the bill of lading he said. Well I never got one. I was treated very poorly by this "trusted, insured shipper". The tire store said the tire had suffered a sidewall impact puncture as if it had hit a deep pot hole. The leak was very severe and the car could not have been loaded onto the truck in that condition. The cost to replace the tire was 85.00. The shipper told me to pound salt and ASG agreed with them. They refused to step up for the 85.00 and back their shipper choice. I will never use these people again. Hard to believe a business would operate like this.

I called today to see about having a vehicle shipped from Killeen TX to Minot ND on extremely short notice. I worked with a gentleman named Travis. He answered my frantic questions patiently, and I felt this was the company (out of at least 10) to go with. Their shipping costs were the most reasonable by far ($300-600 difference!) and their customer service was top notch. I honestly recommend using their services.
