Auto debit are scammers and trick you into thinking they are Ugov.com and that you are taxing your vehicle. Lots of others here scammed too. Tricky to cancel. These came at top of search so I automatically thought this was legit. Be careful and avoid.

I thought I had logged into DVLA to pay for my tax, on checking the Gov site I realised my car wasn’t taxed. I eventually got the right site, but every month after the first £9.75 was debited subsequent £6.99 was taken from my account. I researched and was able to cancel, but was told no Refund!!! I was Livid, I wrote to them and said I want all my hard earned cash they took for no service rendered credited back or else I would contact FCA & Ombudsman, within 48 hrs £6.99 x 5 was credited back without the initial £9.75.

Absolute scam! Everyone posted here has been scammed twice. Firstly while paying for your car tax, on the final step you realise you fell for a scam of £9.75, you know it’s gone but not gonna be fooled anymore. And then next month you’ll see a second mysterious payment of £6.99 off your account from auto debit. This is when everyone look up online and reach here.
I hope government or banks or media warn people about this scam, to be careful while paying road tax.

They need to be shut down, taking money for absolutely nothing, I have emailed them and I had a very cheeky email back, very misleading website dangerous

Watch your step when next sorting your car tax. Don't click on this or check your bank account fir wew.autodebit.uk payments and don't allow if asked. Cancelled with no refund

This is a complete scam - how are they still allowed to function - they pretend they are part of dvla - take money for nothing

Should be no stars total scam was trying to tax my car and these buggers started taking money out my account every month.

I also went to DVLA website to pay car tax but this website came up tath etop with similar name 'pay car tax'.. The form was same as DVLA and charged almost the same what I wopuld have paid for my car tax.
I paid it and only realised when received another letter from DVLA and noticed that I was scamed. Moreover applied tpo cancel the registration and but just seen that montly registration fee has been deducted from my account again. It's a big scam.. Please avoid.

It’s a scam! Please beware. They will have an access to your bank details and will be stealing money from you account monthly. People from DVLA told me on the phone this is a scam! Use only gov website don’t get fooled. But if you do then go the their website and cancel subscription immediately.

I went to a government website to pay my tax thought it was too little so done it again. Today a month later finding out my car is not taxed since the first For this to happen to so many people They must realise on the gov website what’s happening. Truth is maybe only 20% will complain as it’s £20 , but if we don’t many people will fall into this trap. And if you get caught by to police THEY CAN BE VER UNFORGIVING.

Purchasing my car tax online . I put it down to my error when I was charged 9.75. However I knew this could not be correct amount for my tax , but put it down to my error and was annoyed with myself . Today I found a £6.99 autodebit for this company , so now I’m angry and have reported to my bank . Having now seen the amount of people this is happening to , I am appalled that this is on the gov website !! This needs to be stopped and I will be pursuing this further, and trying to obtain my money back . Time consuming too .

I like the others went to gov.uk to tax my car just can't understand why on the supposedly legitimate site I ended up paying this crowd, I thought after making the payment that something wasn't right,, £9.75 was taken immediately from my account, i emailed them to cancel and got a reply saying they cancelled with no refund, I've emailed again telling them i want my payment back but no answer as yet, my bank is disputing with them to get my payment back, this scam should be reported to all concerned,

I've just received an email from this company and they've agreed I genuinely made a mistake and their going to refund me the £9.75

I got a check done and unknown to myself, I had a recurring monthly amount of £6.99 kept coming off . The shocking part is that this happened on a Dvla site . 7 payments later , I have noticed. When I wet onto their site and filled in a cancellation form . I got an instant reply STATING cancelled and no refund . DO NOT USE . I CANT BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO BE ON A GOV.UK SITE . I DID NOT WANT TO GIVE A STAR , IT WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD LEAVE A REVIEW. WHY WOULD ANYONE NEED A MONTHY SUBSCRIPTION FOR THIS SERVICE. IT SHOULD BE A ONE OFF PAYMENT . 7PAYMENTS LATER . A INSTANT REPLY. ..NO REFUND. THAT SAYS ALL

Scam! They just use the name "tax" to getaway. Also they set a DD to your account to charge you monthly for no reason.

While applying to tax my daughter's car tax at end of November, I managed somehow to get onto this site believing it was DVLA. I was charged £9.75 to start and I notice that I have been charged a further £6.99 monthly to date. I did pay the full year at beginning of December unaware I had been scammed. Now in touch with bank. Others beware.

Same for me. All to do with bogus car tax.
I’m surprised DVLA do not know about this as well as a red flag at the banks.
I have had £6,99 taken 4 months in a row.

My tax was due, so, I went on what I thought was the Government web site.
I paid £9.57 which I thought was an odd amount, but didn’t think anymore to it as I was in a rush.
The next day I got an email saying I needed to tax my car, I was so angry this company did this scam, even worse I was charged £6.99 today.
I managed to get the money back, can’t we do something, this company is disgusting!!!!!!

I too have been scammed by Autodebit.
I thought I was taxing my car on the government website. Clicked the six months and 9.75 was taken from my account. Days later I received a later from DVLA saying my car wasn’t taxed.
I went into my bank where the lady said she couldn’t cancel the payment as it was showing as a one off payment, but I’m concerned that they are going to take a further 9.75 each month
I’ve been told by my bank to just keep watch my account
It’s made me feel so stupid for falling for this scam.
