Had a very bad experience with them and would not recommend. I order a set of speakers and paid for them as they were available on their website. Next day I receive a mail informing me that they did not have it in stock and have been asked to pay an extra £39 for the next best thing with no apologies or trace of a possible refund. After asking and explaining that I do not want anything else and requested a full refund they offered a discount for something I did not want instead of a confirmation of the refund!
Check their stock before ordering something!!!

Had an issue with the wrong item turning up, however, customer service was excellent and replied within the hour saying they will dispatch the correct item the following day. Great service :)

Ordered a pair of Mission LX1 Speakers in cherry wood. After ordering, I checked the reviews here, and was a little worried, but they arrived very quickly. Ordered on Friday, received the following Monday. No issues whatsoever.

I tried to source charger kit from.other connects2 suppliers who said they could not get hold of it even though I'd spoke direct to connects2 who said they had them . One supplier who did say they could get it wanted double the price.
These guys priced it spot on and sourced the kit and delivered it when they said they would.
Great service.

Ordered an item that thay advertised as being it stock, had to wait six weeks for delivery. I would have canceled but this item was out of stock everywhere so I just waited. If an item is advertised as 48 hour delivery one would expect to receive it in that time. To be fair I emailed them twice and they did reply both times which was good I guess but never contacted me with any sort of update without me asking. As you would expect I'm not happy and don't think I would use them again, sorry.

Before I relate my experience I would remark on the comments of a couple of other reviewers of this company, who state that the negative reviews are fake. It is far more likely that a positive review is false than a negative one. What would be the incentive to leave a spurious negative comment?
I ordered a micro hi-fi system last week, advertised at £190. I also paid £10 for next day delivery. The money was taken immediately, therefore a contract was entered into (offer, consideration, acceptance). The next day I received an email stating that there had been an increase in price and that if I wanted to proceed with the order a further payment of £40 would be required. This constituted a breach of contract. If the increase had been notified prior to taking the money, no breach would have taken place since at that point no contract would have existed. Reading some of the other negative reviews it would appear that my experience is not unique. Needless to say, I did not accept the increase and cancelled the order.
Like others, a week on the refund has still not been made. It is likely that I shall have to make a claim under Section 75 of The Consumer Credit Act. I will receive my refund one way or the other but who needs this sort of inconvenience? Prospective purchasers from this company might well have a hassle free experience but given the level of negative feedback, chances are high that they won't. Proceed at your peril!

Following the initial post, AVW contacted me and gave the following explanation regarding the contractual position of the transaction:
They did not take my money, I gave it to them. This assertion is based upon the fact that they use a third party (World Pay) to collect the money prior to despatching goods. For all I know, it might get them off the hook if they were sued for a breach of contract damages claim.
The manufacturer put up the price of the goods before they had a chance to update the price on their website. I have no reason to disbelieve this statement. What I can say is that I have found another retailer who has advertised the same item at the old discounted price and has honoured that offer.
The timescale involved in processing a refund is dictated by the banking process. I can confirm that I have now received the refund and again, AVW's explanation is probably correct.
I have tried to be honest and lucid in this review, and if I can say one thing positive about AVW it is that they always responded quickly to my communications. I leave it to you to decide whether you can trust them with your purchase.

Very helpful and quick to get back to you via emails. Ordered a JBL subwoofer that had recently got discontinued. They were very helpful in finding a replacement for me and also gave a resonable discount on them.

Really pleased with the service and quality/price of my purchase.

My new stereo was well packaged and perfect condition. I was really pleased to see the level of care given to the fitting kit which was packaged within it's own box to prevent any damage to the plastic facia.

Good site for browsing, excellent prices especially the fitting kit which was of a higher quality than others I saw at higher prices.

My emails were responded to quickly. Would recommend.

Goods like it should, delivery on time.

I got my item it in excellent package condition. However, when I opened the package, the item (Autoleads SWC CP2-HD22) turned out to be defective. Total disappointment!
When connected to PC it shows: "Device Connected: None!" The software is blinking and you are unable to do anything.
The advice of Audiovisualworld was: "I suggest that you contact Autoleads on 01402 470618." Why would you bother installing the device, if it is a total failure - the computer is telling you there is no device! Or you think all buyers are stupid!
What is the seller for ?! ... and how they care having happy & satisfied customers?!

I ordered a TV cabinet from Audiovisualworld on the 10th of April 2018. I paid and extra £10 to get express delivery (24 to 48 hours). It never arrived until 9 days later. I demanded my delivery money back form AudioVisualWorld but they refused saying it was the couriers fault. I pointed out to them that as I paid them for the goods they should have ensured it was delivered on time. Two days after the goods should have arrived I received an e-mail asking me to give them a review on Trust pilot. They mentioned that they have had some fabricated bad reviews, allegedly from a competitor and wanted me to add one about their service, however, as I had not received my goods I told them that I couldn’t give them a review. My goods eventually arrived as I say 9 days after I ordered it. When I again asked for the delivery fee to be returned I was told that their delivery was heavily subsidised and as the goods were delivered to Inverness I should have considered myself lucky to have got them at that price. The problem is that I live in Inverclyde, 200 miles south of Inverness!! Maybe that is why my goods were late. I have still not received my refund therefore I would not recommend this company to anyone and I will not be buying anything else from them. Maybe all the other bad reviews were not fabricated after all.

Best service available, previous reviews have been fabricated as I didn’t find any problems with their service despite being sceptical about the reviews read.

Bought a Focal IBUS 20 compact sub for my car. Superb piece of kit at the cheapest price I could find anywhere.

The package unfortunately was dropped in transit, and whilst the actual speaker enclosure sustained absolutely no damage, some of the clips and the controller knob were damaged, and unusable.

I called them straight away, and withing 24 hours I had the replacement clips and controllers as well as a whole new loom and extra feet and fixings, no questions asked.

Honestly the best online service I could have asked for. Emailed asking the stock status of an item and got a prompt and friendly reply saying it was in stock. Ordered the item and it was delivered the next morning. Seriously good service and very well packaged. Highly recommended.

Not sure if the previous reviews are fake or if the company was going through a rough patch but I had 0 issues with my order and they were the cheapest i could find for the particular item that I ordered and a few other items I noticed where much cheaper here. Very fast delivery (think it was next day if i remember right).

Fantastic service, ordered a Cambridge Audio TV5-V2 lunchtime on a Thursday. It was dispatched the same day and arrived the next day (Friday) within a 1 hr timeslot by DHL. Very good price, communication and very happy with my purchase and the service, thank you

Terrible company bought a £600 car stereo which became faulty almost immediately. I contacted the Manufacturer who also confirmed the fault. I contacted audiovisual and told them I wanted a refund or a replacement. They refused and told me I must contact an approved repair centre for a repair! No way after spending £600 am I settling for a repair. Contacted my credit card company and got a refund. They called me up when they noticed the chargeback and said I was "throwing my toys out of pram" for complaining! Would never use them again no customer skills what so ever.
