I cannot stress enough how lovely and helpful both the receptionist and audiologist were at the Ebbw Vale clinic, they fitted me in last minute and completely relieved me of my pain, the audiologist explained everything that was going on during the procedure so I wasn't alarmed by any discomfort and was very patient with me. Thank you guys!!

The Audiologist at Cardiff is a true professional.
The Audiologist at Cardiff is a true professional giving an excellent service with some good, solid advice.
However, my problem is with the competence of the local GP service. First, to get an appointment, second, the nurse's ability to diagnose whether ears are blocked with wax, and finally only offering syringing which, in my case is painful.
Whether Audiology Associates can offer an "inspection service" to solve this I don't know. Probably difficult to make it pay.

Reference the "inspection service" you mentioned, we offer a consultation appointment for just £25.00. If you do require treatment following your consultation / inspection we deduct this cost off your treatment charges. We also offer a reminder service for treatments needed on a regular basis (6 monthly or yearly) I hope this helps.

The actual service was Ok but very surprised when I was asked to pay an additional amount of £20 for the second ear. When I was quote the price of £45 I thought that was for both ears. I was not told at the time of booking and was not told it was going to cost me extra before it was done!
If I had been told beforehand it would have been different, but they seem to want to get as much money as possible from you ! I felt it was sharp practice!

I am responding to you on Trust Pilot with exactly the same response I have sent to the email we received a little earlier form you.
I have to say that I am more than surprised to read the content. I have checked your records and you were clerked in by our Office Manger who is constantly complimented on her customer service and knows our policy and procedures inside out.
Our costings are also transparent, they are on our website, social media pages and all state that Unilateral Treatment is £45.00 & Bilateral is £65.00. See link below.

I am more than confident as Operations Manager that “sharp practice” or trying to “get as much money as possible from you” is not within our companies ethical or moral standing. I am very sorry that you were not expecting this additional fee but you can be assured that we are not in the habit of over charging for our services.
I have checked your records and you originally booked into clinic for treatment on one ear only. I have also taken the liberty of checking with our Audiologist who informed me that you requested the second ear to be treated whilst in the treatment chair. He was naturally happy to carry the second ears treatment out as you requested. When you booked with us you did indeed only want one side treated, I am presuming this is where the confusion lies?
I apologise on behalf of the team and myself for you feeling this way, but I am confident that my team adhered to the practice that was expected of them.

I went for a hearing test. Rhys and his team were very professional. They made me feel totally comfortable throughout the procedure and gave great sound advice on the types of suitable hearing aids. I would definitely recommend.

I have been bringing my friend to Audiology Associates in Ebbw Vale for the last 18 months. The difference made to her life through having regular microsuction for her ear wax is remarkable!
Mr. Barber is so skilled and patient with her! I’ve reccomended their clinic time and time again and will happily continue to do so.
