SNIPE DID NOT WORK

SNIPE DID NOT WORK ! Placed a snipe, Auction Stealer say there was an eb@y software problem, so bid not placed and i lost the item to a lower bidder. I simply do not believe the Auction Stealer “fob off” story.
I pay for a service i did not receive and lost out on a rare item that i had been after for years. I have lost faith in Auction Stealer and now simply can not trust them at all.

Auction sniping is never guaranteed. Snipes go in at the very last second by design, and a lot can happen in those final moments: connectivity issues, eBay-side errors, or occasionally a full eBay outage. We've successfully placed 99.999% of snipes over the last five years, but no service operating against a third-party platform can promise 100%, and we're always sympathetic when one is missed.

In this case, eBay had a significant site-wide outage on April 26-27. Downdetector logged a peak of 9,641 reports, up from a baseline of 4, and at the worst point, eBay was rejecting bids placed directly on eBay.com—not just snipes routed through us.
