After testing several prop firms over the past couple of years, I can confidently say that Atmos Traders (now operating as Atmos Funded) is easily one of the most transparent and structured firms in the industry right now. I recently passed their evaluation and received my first payout, and the entire experience has been smooth, straightforward, and professional.
The Evaluation Phase (No Time Pressure)
I went with their 1-Step Plus challenge, and the biggest stress reliever was the lack of a time limit. I didn't feel the need to force setups or overleverage just to hit a deadline. The daily drawdown rules are incredibly easy to track because they reset at exactly 5 PM EST every single day. This creates a predictable risk ceiling that helps you manage your exposure logically without any hidden tricks.
Fair and Realistic Trading Rules
What makes Atmos stand out is that they don't rely on "gotcha" rules to fail you, but they do reward disciplined trading. Their rulebook is completely transparent.
Consistency: They have a rule where no single trading day can account for more than 45% of your total profit on the 1-Step Plus (20% on Instant Funding). This was great for me because it forced me to be a consistent trader rather than relying on one lucky gamble.
Trade Duration & EAs: My strategy involves letting trades breathe, so their rule requiring at least 50% of trades to remain open for more than 2 minutes was no problem at all. I also appreciate that they allow you to use your own personal Expert Advisors (EAs), even though commercial/mass-market EAs are banned.
News Trading: While you can trade the news during the evaluation, I made sure to strictly follow their funded stage rules by not executing any trades 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after high-impact news. As long as you stay disciplined around major economic releases, your account is perfectly safe.

This is where Atmos truly shines. There are a lot of horror stories in the prop firm space regarding payouts, but Atmos handled mine perfectly. I met my minimum of 3 profitable days easily, and once I reached my 14-day withdrawal cycle, requesting my funds was effortless.
I locked in an 80% profit split and chose to withdraw via crypto for speed (though they have an impressive list of local payment methods across Africa, LATAM, and beyond). The payout was processed quickly, and they communicated with me every step of the way. One important detail to note for funded traders: on the 1-Step standard, your max drawdown locks at your initial balance when you request a payout. Knowing this upfront allowed me to leave a small buffer in the account so I could keep trading safely after the withdrawal.
Finally, If you are a disciplined trader who utilizes proper risk management and avoids gambling or chasing price, Atmos Funded is an incredible partner. They provide an excellent MT5 setup via Taurex, their customer service is incredibly responsive, and most importantly, they honor their payouts exactly as promised. Highly recommended!
