Atlantic Secrets rent a car does not work to deceive the customer. Quite the contrary, we are always transparent and honest with our customers and we do not work with aggressively low rates as you mentioned.
In the first place, you returned the car after hours of what was contracted and did not notify or give a reason for the delay. For that reason alone you should have paid a delay fee and we didn't charge you anything.
Second, the car you rented is a new car, it didn't have any damage to the bumper as you could see the day it was brought in and inspected in front of you. The damage caused was not a simple scratch. It was a scratch with a considerable size and it was fresh (we have photos to prove it). You were only charged €200, which is lower compared to the competition and international rent a cars. At no time were you told that we would keep your €1200 deposit. Especially because this amount is just a guarantee and we do not charge without the customer's consent.
Atlantic Secrets Rent a Car does not need to invent false damages for customers to pay, not least because we are against those who work in this way. All the information was explained to you and it's also all on our wedsite in the rental conditions. If you don't agree with our policy, simply don't book with us. It is your responsibility to read all conditions before booking.
At no time did you show calm in accepting our arguments nor did you want to admit the damage you caused to the car. To the point of forcing us to call the police for being super aggressive, talking loud and out of control. We didn't use the fact that you had little time to go to the airport, because you were the ones who arrived late to return the car and your contract had already expired.
Once again, we are sorry for what happened but we cannot agree with this comment.
