Used multiple times and so far they have, and quickly, found the most inexpensive Plan F, G, etc than what I could. I also take care of family member's plans and they help with those too. I used to do hunt myself or use the medicare site but didn't realize quickly that the medicare sites do not list all the options nor the most inexpensive ones. I place the call, tell them the plan I want, tell them I want zero plans affiliated with blue cross or care first and the like then within minutes I'm done. This year I called days before my birthday so had to make appt with Ron P. to call me back on my birthday, and exactly on the appt minute he called and done. Several days later I tried, for experimental purposes, to find all the sources including my State's official Medicare Supplemental Rate Guide and even in that guide the rate was higher for the same company/plan then what AskChapter got for me. I have tried other agencies for us baby boomer generation folks and consistently AskChapter has been best. My review is specific to Medicare Supplement Plans, I'm not a fan of any Advantage Plans and thank my lucky stars that I learned early that medicare Plan C and Part C are often confused at sadly great costs.

I was intrigued by the approach of askchapter -- provide unbiased advice for Medicare users, without an incentive to push a particular plan. They have no incentives to push plans that Chapter get paid for. The reps are incented to provide unbiased advice purely based on the best value for the Medicare subscriber.
I decided to check them out and asked them:
"What plan should I change to -- I am on Medicare with Tricare for Life as second payer."
The rep asked me what Medicare I subscribed to (Parts A and B only) and advised me to continue with this plan configuration, but to NOT sign up for any additional plans (Medicare supplement plans, for example).
Great advice, friendly and detailed interaction -- an exceptional experience!

Despite receiving a reminder email and a text, I never received the promised call (made 2 weeks ago).

Had appt. call with a Noah Wilson. He seemed very impatient, arrogant & rude. Did not explain well & didn't like me asking questions. I ended the call as he was not helping at all. Spoke with at least three other reps from different sources later and had a much, much better experience.

CSR seemed knowledgeable but high pressure to make a decision citing that there were many people waiting to get information so he had to use time efficiently, and it was only fair that he should get the credit for his efforts which meant me picking a plan on the spot. When I said I needed to check the plan and provider, he kept saying I could always change it later. When I didn't commit, he finally admitted that he could send me an email to enroll through him, but the link would only be good for today. After this experience, I wouldn't trust them to recommend something as important as my healthcare plan.

Mr. Geoffrey is a very helpful, pleasant, considerate and a kind person. He is very patient, very detailed and took the time to do reasonable check-ins to see how things are going and if he can be of any assistance...and made mention, everytime after each interaction.... don't hesitate to reach out. He answers emails in a very timely manner. My experience was a good one, for sure...Period. Tyvm Mr. Geoffrey.

Last year I went with this agency and was given a great Medicare Advantage plan. The agent was responsive and very helpful. This year, a complete disaster. I can't get in touch with anyone there and am put on hold for hours at a time. I don't have any paperwork or cards or anything that the agent said I would be getting. No one answers my calls and so I have no clue what is going on.
