A Solo Woman Traveling’s, Melissa Byron, created a Greece trip that exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to relax, explore, and fully enjoy the experience.
What made this trip truly special was the amazing group of women who shared it with me, including Melissa, as she is so fun and has such amazing energy! Strangers quickly became friends as we laughed over dinners, explored beautiful villages, admired breathtaking views, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
The balance of adventure, culture, relaxation, and authentic local experiences (especially Estia Kouros Empeiria) was perfect. Every day brought something new to discover, while still leaving time to soak in the beauty and magic of Greece.
If you are considering an all-women’s group trip, I cannot recommend Melissa enough. I will be going on future trips with her and having her help me plan my trip to Italy as this trip was empowering, inspiring, and unforgettable. I came home with wonderful memories, beautiful photos, and friendships that I know will continue long after the trip ended.

I recently traveled to Portugal with A Solo Woman Traveling, and it was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. This was my first time solo traveling, and I honestly could not have asked for a better introduction to it.

Melissa did a fantastic job planning every detail of the trip. The hotels were beautiful, the food was excellent, and the itinerary struck the perfect balance between activities and downtime. What I loved most was the small group experience. It felt personal, welcoming, and easy to connect with everyone.

This trip was very good. The planning that Melissa put into this trip was so well thought out; from being picked up at the airport to the final day’s catamaran trip everything was superb and went off without a hitch! I’ll be booking a trip with her again.

My trip to Crete was a dream and a bucket list wish. I would not have done this trip any other way than with Melissa and her business “A Solo Woman Travelling”. This is my second trip to Greece with her and was not disappointed. Everything you could imagine and more - the morning and evening food tours throughout Chania and Rethymno, the incredible choices of restaurants and taverna’s, staying in a boutique hotel in Rethymno originally a monastery, the incredible charter boat trip to Balos where we saw pink sand, and to end the trip, a private catamaran sail to Dia Island swimming in the Mediterranean Sea!
This trip was well planned, organized and Melissa’s attention to detail was impeccable. The meeting of new friends is always a bonus and if you are searching for this type of trip and adventure it all starts right here.

This trip was AMAZING. There were ten ladies total including our host Melissa. It was such a pleasure getting to know them all and travelling with them. The hotels we stayed in were top notch. They were clean, comfortable, offered good service, and great breakfast every day that was included. We did so many wonderful activities including boat rides, food tours, beach time, and small-town walking tours. There was also free time to relax and enjoy the pool or shop. Ladies, if you are considering booking a trip with Melissa, just do it ! It will be an unforgettable travel experience.

Great balance of activities around food, history, exploring the islands and cities, as well as downtime to relax and refresh. Melissa did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable and a part of the group. And I love how she communicated so much before the trip so we all knew what to pack and what to expect each day. I'd totally Recommend her trips!

Greece had been on my bucket list for a long time. I can’t imagine a better way to experience this amazing country than with Melissa! Everything was so well organized and clearly communicated. And we had experiences beyond the typical “touristy” things. I particularly enjoyed the cooking class on the farm. I also liked spending several days on Naxos, which allowed us to slow down, get a feel for the place, and soak up all the island had to offer. Our private tour guides were all fantastic and very knowledgeable. The hotels were comfortable and well located. Most importantly, we had a fabulous group of ladies who made the trip really special. I can’t wait to travel with Melissa again!
