Shady company. My artist friend got scammed. Payed whole fee for a stand in an expensive arts show. Never heard from them again. Stay away!

Scam experience with Artspace (Artspace Fairs / Phaidon Press) has been extremely disappointing.

After visiting their Marbella art fair in October last year, my artist friend (Mia Dey Art) decided to exhibit with them and paid the full exhibition fee in advance to receive the advertised early-payment discount.

Not long afterwards, the representative assigned to her informed her that she was leaving the company. She contacted her via WhatsApp to say she had resigned and wrote, “I hope they will do what they promised for the artists.” That message immediately raised concerns.

Within a short period, she then received emails from two other individuals using official Artspace email addresses, each informing her that they had also resigned from the company.

After that, communication stopped entirely. She called every Artspace phone number she had, but the numbers were either disconnected or went unanswered. She also emailed every Artspace contact and email address she could find, but did not receive a single reply.

As a result,she has been unable to obtain any information about her booking or recover the approximately €1,300 that she paid. Despite numerous attempts over an extended period, she has received no response from the company.

This has been a very stressful experience for her. She can only speak about her own experience, but based on what happened to her, we would encourage other artists to carry out careful due diligence and proceed with caution before committing funds to exhibit with this organization.

From that point on, communication completely stopped. I tried calling every phone number I had for Artspace, but the numbers were either disconnected or the phones were switched off. I emailed every Artspace contact and email address I could find, but I never received a single response. I have been completely ghosted.

This has been an incredibly stressful and upsetting experience. I paid approximately €1,300 for my booth and, despite repeated attempts to contact the company, I have been unable to get any response or recover my money.

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage artists not give their money to these scammers.

Ghoasted me completely and its now 1 week before the supposed show with no news about where to take my art or anything else.
I just want my money €1345 back

Bought painting and payed! After this the shipment and the salie were cancelled bij Artspace. At my request to return the payment never received an answer. Also not after many mails! Fake website?

Horrible experience

Didn’t advertise print had not even been produced yet.

Billed credit card 3 months before print was produced.

Constant delays. Requested not to ship without warning due to travel and signature required they sent anyway. No phone support.

Seems they have also shipped parent’s order to my address too instead of their address in another state.

I would recommend not dealing with them at all.

The piece I received, was not as advertised. Not only did the piece have a white border around it, but the border was larger on the sides, than top/bottom, print was crooked on the sheet, and even with the wide side white borders, it was still 2 inches smaller in width than described. I ordered a custom frame for the print based on the size in the description and now I'm out of money for the frame and for what appears to be a fake "limited edition print."

Promised to ship in 10 to 14 business days. 24 business days later (and counting), I have not yet received my artwork, and the customer service has gone silent on my last email, so I have no clue if my artwork is on its way, or if my money is just gone. I’d love to believe this is a reliable service and that they are trying their hardest, but this is probably my first and my last purchase here.

No Certificate or Authenticity or signature cards as stated in the description. Looks like I got scammed out of a few thousand dollars.

I bought an item from a partner. Artspace billed taxes even that We do NOT pay taxes when send inside Europe. I have NOT got an explanation

Was not that happy with the delivery of packages. Love the concept but packaging must be better and protect the art with some type of protection. I buy from other on line art dealers and the art come mounted and framed in mount board protected edges and certification all taped to the back. This look as if everything was just thrown together. No respect or love for the work

Love the site generally but not totally happy with quality of framing

Ordering for delivery to France was simple.
Products arrived in good time, although package had been opened nothing had been damaged.
The Miro cushions are beautiful!

Read the title

The shipping was correct but it is missing the certificates of autenticy and signatures, also the photo size are not correct once the is a big white margin that makes the pic smaller than the discription.

I has some problems with my credit card, there was always a very supportive e mail with inquiries in how to be of assistance.

When you buy something trough a web page, you may feel that there is no actual humans to interact with in case that you need some asistance, but is just an ilusion, their customer service was great, quick, friendly and efective. Good to know that you're not alone

This was my first purchase from Artspace and I am very happy with the service and communication with the team. The piece I purchased is a limited edition photograph which I also had framed, I'm happy with the framing, it's also of perfect quality and framed to conservation standards.
