Overpriced course with very limited educational value and no real support
I purchased a course from Arch Viz Artist expecting a structured, professional Unreal Engine learning experience. Unfortunately, the content does not match the expectations set in their marketing.
After completing the course, approaching the animation section, I found that:
Most videos are very short and lack meaningful explanation
The lessons mainly show which buttons to click, without explaining why
There is little to no depth or real teaching of concepts
Critically, despite progressing significantly through the course, I did not gain a proper understanding of core topics such as:
scene creation
foliage
materials
lighting
The course is advertised as providing the skills needed to create realistic scenes in Unreal Engine, not just animations. However, without a solid foundation in these areas, it does not deliver on that promise.
The animation section followed the same pattern of simply demonstrating steps using provided project files rather than teaching underlying principles, while a complex blueprint topic was explained in total less than 1 hour.
Additionally, access to the AVA Community is promoted as a support system. In practice:
The community appears largely inactive
Questions often receive no responses
I personally asked a question when I started the course and did not receive any reply even after a month
I contacted the company multiple times, including a formal refund request sent on April 3, 2026, but received no response.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this course. I would strongly advise others to carefully evaluate alternatives before purchasing.
