Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish.

I bought a refurbished dishwasher from this company on 6th November, and it has been nothing but stress. The appliance worked only three times before developing a fault. Despite it being sold with a guarantee, communication from the business has been almost non-existent.

From 6th November to 10th December, I have been trying to get this resolved with barely any response. They arranged a collection at their chosen time, and I even received a voicemail from Jonathan’s sister confirming he would be arriving that day. I waited the entire day — no one came, and there was no call or message to rearrange.

I also received a missed call at 14:29 and called back 12 times straight after with no answer — plus many more unanswered calls over the weeks. One missed call does not make up for the constant lack of communication.

I even went to their shop in person, only to find it closed, despite showing as open on Google.

Due to the ongoing lack of response and failure to resolve the issue, we are now in contact with Citizens Advice Consumer Service, who will be passing the case to Trading Standards, and we are also speaking with fraud investigation teams through our bank regarding this matter.

This entire experience has been extremely unprofessional and unnecessarily stressful. I strongly advise others to avoid this business. Their communication, accountability, and customer care are completely unacceptable.

I purchased an LG washing machine from this company.And what a brilliant company they are.I ordered it online and it was delivered on the same day.I was spoken to and updated by a lovely lady called Tracey.It was delivered and installed by a very professional gentleman.I have never ever had such brilliant service in all my life.This is far better than any retail shop I have ever used.I highly recommend.

A lovely, friendly company. They delivered and installed my new washing machine, and took away my old one, at no extra charge on top of the already reasonable price of the machine. Staff are warm and friendly, and the refurbished washer is in very smart condition. I will certainly go to them first in future, before turning to large chain companies.

I recieved my refurbished Miele from Applianceworldhalifax in mint condition which was delivered 46 miles to my home & fitted by Jonathan for very low cost of £25.The machine retails at £699.99 was an absolute bargain at £389.My last Miele washer lasted 15 years washing for a busy family lets hope this one is as good.Thank you Appliance World Halifax for excellent service & look forward to doing business with you in the future.
