From start to finish apex doma were amazing. The transition to solar and the options available was confusing. After getting telephone quotes from other companies I was left unsure. Whereas, Ian personally came to review the job and gave a clear fully costed quote and explained the process involved.

When it came to install, everything happened when they said it would no last minute changes or delays. They were even flexible enough to be able to add panels mid job at my request maximising my generation potential.

Installation guys Jose and Owen were fantastic! Incredibly neat job and the site was left tidy. Can’t thank them enough! Really recommend them as a business

I contacted a number of suppliers for quotes for an AC coupled Tesla PW3 Battery to support my existing PV system and EV car. None were keen on undertaking a site visit however Apex Doma understood and willingly arranged a site visit to discuss location and layout for the PW3 and Gateway
After speaking with Ian, I had the confidence to place my order. From order placement the communications were great and their engagement with the DNO for the export design assessment was faultless. Hence the battery was installed on their scheduled date.
On the day I had no issues or stress both Matt and Tom installed the PW3 and took me through the setup step by step. Their attention to detail and quality of workmanship went above and beyond my expectations. The framed single line diagram with shutdown procedure fixed next to the PW3 Gateway is very useful and again shows the level of detail the company work to.
Following the commissioning, Apex Doma started handover documentation provided me very helpful links to videos they have produced which explain in detail how the PW3 App works and what to expect in the handover documentation. The system is running perfectly and suits my needs, I would definitely use Apex Doma again and highly recommend them

We did a lot of research and had 4 quotes for solar panels and batteries before going ahead. Apex were neither the cheapest nor the most expensive quote. Apex were patient with addressing all our questions beforehand which gave us confidence. The scaffolding arrived and fitting went ok except they caused a water leak in our garage when the heating came on later in the evening and they organised an emergency plumber to stop it. We were left with water damage to the ceiling which we had to put right. They also installed the inverter incorrectly and so for the first 2 months after installation we had an inflated electric bill rather than a lower one which was a shock! For example, one month's bill went from £108 to £180. It took 3 visits for the inverter situation to be rectified. We did eventually come to a compensation agreement but it took 3 months to do so. Now our monthly electric bill is around £20. Ultimately we're pleased we had the solar panels fitted but it wasn't quite as smooth a process as we'd hoped for.  

Everything was done on schedule and fully explained to me.
All contact that I have had with the comany has been friendly and helpful.

From the first visit by Ian and his patient revisions of different variations to the quote through Abby’s patience with delays with our roofers through to the great installation team led by Liam we have been super impressed with the professionalism and skills of the whole company. By no means the cheapest quote, I am more than pleased with the quality of the equipment and installation as well as the excellent customer service and after sales care. Worth every extra penny. When time comes to install an EV charger I’ll certainly be asking Apex Doma for a quote again.

I had a Zappi electric car charging point fitted. The charging point was fitted within a week of the car arriving. There was a problem and the staff returned very quickly to resolve it. The people carrying out the work were also very patient when showing me how to operate the charging equipment.

I have waited until the system was completely up and running before submitting this review.
I had 6 Jinko Tiger Neo 440W panels with GivEnergy string inverter , A Givenergy 13.5 Kwh All In One, and Gateway. The office staff were friendly and efficient, the solar install team were quick and happy to hide cables were possible especially Liam. The Battery/Gateway were a quick and straight forward installation. There was a minor issue with the String Inverter , but as this was a newly developed Item, this was to be expected, and was easily rectified with a Firmware update. Although the Panels I purchased were only 2.64KW/h , In March I got over 4KW/h in the North of England - most impressive.

From first contact with Ian, through survey visits, quotation, fitting and follow up the service from Apex Doma is simply excellent and super professional. They are all passionate about their products and service and there is no hard sales, just sound advice and education about going solar with battery. Special shout out has to go to Ian for his unbelievable enthusiasm and commitment to customer, Liam and Jose who fitted the panels on very cold days and Matt and Tom who left very early to get here to complete the electrical fitting in one day. From start to Finish they did a great job, the initial survey was done by Ian, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about solar pv.
All my questions were answered promptly and I was kept informed of the dates for the install.
The install was great, a very neat and professional job, the hand over was well explained in person and via e mail, all the documentation received within the specified time and all together in a pack via e mail.
I've now been running the system for 6 months and apart from a small issue with optimisers communicating ( which was sorted out quickly) and not a fault of Apex Doma, the system has been fantastic and performed as the initial quote.
At a push I could have probably saved a little bit on the job and gone with one of the bigger companies that you see splashed all iver social media, but having a local company with years of genuine experience is well worth it.

Great experience buying solar panels and battery storage from Apex Doma. Ian was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful in explaining everything we needed to know to choose the system we needed. He came to our home and spent a couple of hours on the survey and answering our questions. We had a few quotes and chose Apex because their pricing was transparent, they were helpful, knowledgeable and we felt no pressure to buy. The installation was booked and delayed by a few days owing to bad weather. The installation process was smooth and we were impressed by all members of the team (roofing team and electrical team). They were on time, professional, pleasant and unobtrusive, respectful of our property and explained everything that was going on. A few roof tiles were damaged during the installation process but were replaced. Scaffolding was delayed by a few days coming down (outside the control of Apex) but the installation was relatively quick (4 days) and the scaffolding up for a couple of weeks. Aftercare has also been good, with the provision of useful videos to explain energy tariff options and smart export guarantee. Documentation process for the export tariff has been a little complicated to understand but all in all a positive experience. We're already saving about 40% on our electricity even though it's been misty all week just by charging the battery on a cheap rate period (but that is because we're eligible through also having an air source heat pump). Looking forward to seeing how much we can generate on sunny days!
