Disappointed
Picked up a £20,000 S5 Coupe. Paid full asking price. Car needed a tyre to be given a no advisory MOT. Car had 4 matching Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres on, and rather than match this, a budget tyre fitted.
I’ve chased this up and just been told they wouldn’t fit a matching tyre, and will only do something if I return with the car and give them back the tyre to then pay the difference myself for a replacement.
So what was a good experience, turned into a really disappointing experience.
I can’t imagine any customer being happy with this

The tyre was replaced because it required attention to pass the MOT and the replacement fitted met all legal and safety requirements. However, we appreciate your view that a matching Goodyear Eagle F1 would have been preferable on this vehicle.
As the owner, I have personally reached out to better understand what happened and to discuss the matter with you in more detail, with the aim of finding a resolution. We genuinely value customer feedback and always welcome the opportunity to address any concerns directly.
Whilst we respect your right to leave a review based on your experience, we do feel it is a shame that this issue has resulted in a one-star rating, as we do not believe it reflects the overall level of service we strive to provide to our customers. Nevertheless, we take your comments seriously and will use them to review our processes and communication going forward.
We would still welcome the opportunity to speak with you and hopefully reach a positive outcome.
Nice bunch of guys & girls but serious lack of communication
I don’t really like leaving negative reviews but I feel like I have been left with no choice on this occasion.
I bought a car from Apex back in January which ended up having an oil leak as well as some other issues, most of the issues were resolved by Apex but the oil leak required the car to be taken to an Audi specialist.
The warranty company only covered a small portion of the repair cost so I had to pay the remaining balance myself. Considering the car had an oil leak from the point of purchase Apex agreed reimburse the amount paid.
It has now been three weeks since I emailed Apex and them agree to reimburse the cost of the repair and I’m still yet to receive anything, this also includes a follow-up email that I sent reminding them.
As I mentioned at the start I don’t like leaving negative reviews and wasn’t going to after the oil leak was resolved but there just seems to be a lack of communication and a lack of urgency getting things resolved at Apex.

We're sorry that your experience has left you feeling disappointed, particularly after the efforts made to resolve the issues you encountered with the vehicle following purchase.
As you mentioned, the oil leak required specialist attention and, given that the issue was present from the point of sale, we agreed to reimburse the contribution you had made towards the repair costs. Unfortunately, during this period we were implementing changes to our internal accounts processes, and while awaiting the necessary bank details, your reimbursement was inadvertently overlooked. We fully appreciate the frustration this caused and apologise for the lack of communication regarding the delay.
As soon as the discrepancy was brought to our attention, the reimbursement was processed immediately and the funds were transferred without further delay.
Whilst we understand your frustration, we do feel it is a shame that this issue has resulted in a negative review, particularly as we worked to resolve the vehicle's faults and honoured our commitment to reimburse the repair costs. Nevertheless, we accept that our communication and administration fell below the standard we aim to provide on this occasion, and for that we sincerely apologise.
We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our processes and ensure similar situations do not occur in the future.
