I got paid some old invoices after sending several e-mails and I am still waiting for invoices from July. Not very reliable.

Andovar are thieves.
I have been waiting for my salary for over 3 months, and at this point, they have stopped replying.

We have an invoice outstanding of 2500 USD for 6 months now, up until this point there's no movement from them.

All i get is failed payments, more info required, escalation, etc. despite the dubbed content has already aired.

the last 2 freelance jobs I did for them I never got paid.

Like other vendors, I have been working with Andovar for many years and never experienced any payment issues.

However, this has changed and I am currently due 3 outstanding invoices from 2025.

Furthermore, the teams are now no longer responding to emails, messages, contact forms...

I have been working with Andovar on multiple translation/editing/proofreading projects for years. Their payment terms (T45) have almost never been adhered to, but they have reached a new low this time, as I am awaiting payments for projects invoiced in January-March 2026, amounting to approximately 600 EUR. This is simply unacceptable.

They haven’t paid me for work I completed over 1 year ago. I’ve sent countless tickets and emails, and they simply ignore everything. At the beginning they kept promising that payment would come ‘in a few months’, but now they don’t even bother replying. They take advantage of honest freelancers, disappear when it’s time to pay, and leave you with unpaid work and zero communication.
Translators: AVOID ANDOVAR. My experience has been nothing but frustration and a full year of waiting for money that never arrived.

No payment, no communication — AGAIN.

Just like many other freelancers here, I’m still waiting to get paid for work I completed months ago.

I’ve sent emails, follow-ups, contacted Accounts Payable… nothing. No payment, no proper response, just silence.

At this point I’m done chasing them around. I have all the documentation and I’m preparing to take legal action if this isn’t resolved.

Seeing how many freelancers are reporting the exact same issue lately, I’d seriously think twice before taking new work from Andovar.

Same experience as others here. I completed an audio recording project in May, but the payment is long overdue and still unpaid. The initial contact person ghosted me, and I cannot reach any other team members. I have sent multiple follow-up emails, but they are all being completely ignored. I strongly advise everyone NEVER to accept any work from them.

Unfortunately, I have still not been paid for work I completed several months ago. It is extremely disappointing that the situation has reached this point. If I do not receive full payment within the next five days, I will take legal action through the French courts. I will remove this comment as soon as the payment is received.

I've completed several tasks for Andovar and my payments are not initiated on time or at all. I've completed a task in April and I'm still waiting for my payment in JULY! No answers, no follow-ups, no payment. I would highly recommend to AVOID this company at all costs.

I completed a task for Andovar months ago, and despite multiple follow-ups, my payment remains ignored. Recent reports show this is becoming a widespread issue with their freelancers. Completely unprofessional communication.

I took on a transcription project in January. Communication with the project manager was one-way, so if I replied to emails regarding feedback and other matters, the project manager wouldn't respond.

The invoice was issued in March with a due date of May 7th. However, to date, I haven't received any payment. I've contacted the project manager, the recruitment team, and emailed the finance department, but I still received no information. It turns out many freelancers are in the same boat as me.

I advise freelancers to reconsider this platform regarding my experience.

I finally received payment on June 15th, 2026, after a representative send me email. I change 1 star to 4 stars. Still, the lack of the payment information is should be consider.

First collaboration with Andovar.

Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. My invoice became overdue, and despite several follow-up emails, including escalation to Accounts Payable, I have received neither payment nor any response.

What concerns me most is not only the delayed payment itself, but the complete lack of communication. As a freelancer, I understand that delays may occasionally happen, but I expect transparency and at least a reply regarding the status of the invoice.

Based on my experience, I would be cautious about accepting large projects until a reliable payment history has been established.

I worked on a project for this company in October–November and, unfortunately, I am still waiting for payment.

Over the past months, I have followed up many times asking for updates. Each time, I was told that there were delays related to their clients' payments. While I understand that business issues can happen, waiting this long without a clear solution is not professional.

The communication has been poor, and there is still no clear information about when or if the payment will be made.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend working with this company. It feels like a lottery - maybe you will get paid, maybe you won't.

Project started in January 2026. Invoices issued in March 2026. Despite repeated follow-ups over several months, payment remained unresolved.
Communication was highly fragmented across many different contacts, with repeated assurances that the case was “being followed internally,” but without concrete resolution or accountability.
Work and requested revisions were completed from my side. Main issue was the prolonged payment uncertainty and lack of transparent communication throughout the process.
Based on this experience, I would definitely avoid any collaboration with them!

I collaborate with Andovar as a freelance translator. Although the project managers are helpful and friendly, the accounting team does not show the same diligence when it comes to paying their suppliers: they are often delayed in settling invoices and now they are no longer paying me. In response to my numerous reminders, they either do not reply or a different person each time promises to take care of the situation. In reality, they do nothing and continue to refuse to pay. I strongly advise translators to avoid collaborating with them, as they fail to settle payments and show no respect.

Unfortunately, my experience as a freelancer with this agency has been very negative. The team I worked with was polite, but the specifications for the platforms I was required to use were outdated, which forced me to ask for clarification multiple times and caused a significant waste of time. That can happen.
However, the real issue was that two days after I delivered the work, I was told I had to redo it because their client had forgotten to provide an important requirement. When I refused, because I had completed the task correctly based on the instructions I had been given, they told me that one of the conditions for accepting the job was that I would be paid only once the work had been approved.
In other words, the fact that my work was rejected due to their mistake was considered irrelevant. I find this way of working completely unethical, and for this reason I feel compelled to advise any freelancer not to collaborate with this company.

Worked with them with the recordings, really trustable and really fast with the payments.
Would really work with them again <3
