Sweet Amos, WHAT HAPPENED?

I’m soooooooo bummed!!!
About 5-ish months ago, I discovered a new Candy (new to me, at least) called Peelerz. They had 2 flavors: Banana and Mango.
I absolutely loved both (and for those of you that complain of a slightly chemical flavor… artificial banana flavor has ALWAYS tasted… well, artificial. And some people love it.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say that you can completely peel each candy… they’re soft and sticky and it’s CANDY, so it’s not going to be like peeling a banana. But for me, it was such a great combination of flavors and ritual with how you decide best to eat them, so I was hooked. The next time I went to the store, they only had the mango flavor. I was disappointed but love the mango equally, if not more… but I couldn’t stop thinking about the banana. So eventually I decided to see if I could purchase directly from the business website. I was super excited to find all sorts of other candies as well. and being that it’s almost Halloween, they had several Halloween options like eyeballs and ”body parts”, that were supposedly supposed to be peelable, too . Oh and peelable pumpkins!
I ordered about $50 worth of candy, incl 3 bags of banana peelerz!!

Received the shipment a couple days ago and have been met with disappointment after disappointment after disappointment. First of all, the Halloween candy was supposed to come in boxes with multiple pieces or small sized bags. Each box looked like they had angry chimpanzees packaging my shipment. The boxes weren’t just crushed or banged up, as if they got banged up in the delivery truck. They were absolutely destroyed!! A couple were completely flattened. It was as if a disgruntled worker had a really shitty day and took out all their anger on these boxes. Like crushed them were hands, punched them, jumped on them… Luckily the candy are individually wrapped and seemed to have escaped damage and were just all over, loose in the bag.
BUT THEN the next disappointment!! The candies looked NOTHING like the pictures on the boxes or what was shown on internet. The body parts were supposed to be like, feet, hands and I think, brains. They were very small. Didn’t really look like the body parts. They all looked the same. Instead of being like pink-white they were more transparent and looked like gummy bears (despite the photos. They’re also supposed to be peelable and they absolutely were not.
The pumpkins were only slightly less translucent and didn’t really peel. The cool thing about the banana and mango Peelerz is that the “peel” is slightly firmer texture than the inside and the “fruit” inside is softer, a slightly different color… it all makes for a cool experience but the pumpkins were all soft and there wasn’t a whole lot of difference between the outside and the inside.
I actually kinda liked the flavor EXCEPT, out of all the types, these had the most disturbing chemical flavor!!
The eyeballs were weird looking, didn’t look anything like the picture. They were extremely sticky, so I didn’t really want to touch them. Seemed to have like a juiciness in the center but I didn’t like it at all.
And last, on to the banana Peelerz! I got 3 bags because I’ve been jonesing to get more of these.
The first bag, I was disappointed that most of the candies were smooshed. It was like they were made and you could make out the banana shape a little but then someone decided to smoosh each one between their fingers. Some were straight up FLATTENED. The flavor was still ok…
I just opened the 2nd bag and am completely baffled and stunned. Every single PIECE of candy has been mushed together and flattened into one large piece. I cannot even believe they thought it was ok to sell this to someone. There’s no way to pull the pieces apart. I mean you can pull off hunks of the mushed candy but wtf is the point of that????? The whole fun of the experience is being able to “peel” the outer layer a bit… and get to the soft center.
What a disgrace!!!
I haven’t sent me complaint email yet… using this site to write up what I want to say. I BETTER GET A REFUND!!!!

Peelerz aren't Peelerz anymore

Peelerz aren't Peelerz anymore
Amos changed the Peelerz recipe and the banana ones are now clear, fused together, and won't peel — the peel was the whole point of the candy, and the taste is bad. The packaging still advertises the old opaque peelable gummies, which is false advertising. I emailed Amos customer service on October 14 and October 25, 2026 about it; my first complaint was never answered.

PLEASE DONT EAT THIS POISON!!☠️

This company ( makers and distributors of PEELERZ gummy bananas and a slew of other candy) puts Titanium dioxide into their candy, Titanium dioxide is extremely dangerous and should never be consumed by anyone!!!

United States: Allowed by the FDA as a safe color additive.Europe: Banned for food use by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) because it cannot rule out genotoxicity (DNA strand breaks) from nanoparticles.Health ConcernsParticle accumulation: Tiny nano-sized particles can build up in organs over time.Genotoxicity: Lab tests show potential for chromosomal damage, though real-world dietary risk is debated.Inhalation risk: Classified as an occupational carcinogen when breathed in as a dry powder, but eating it is a different exposure route.
Please don’t eat this poison!!!!!!

I went to go buy peeler’s the candy and…

I went to go buy peeler’s the candy and I got the flavor watermelon and it all melted. Not even we didn’t even exit the store. We opened it and everything was melted. Stuck together. Nothing was separate you couldn’t. It doesn’t look edible.

Chemical taste, disgusting texture

Hard to peel, the inside was disgustingly sticky. The taste of both the peel and the inside was disgusting. Tasted like chemicals and plastic, also way too sweet. As someone with a massive sweet tooth somehow this was still too sweet for me to have more than 3. Will not be buying again or recommending to anyone. To anyone who reads this, please remember that just because something is a TikTok trend doesn't mean it actually is good and worth your money. Now I am stuck with three flavours of disgusting lollies that I would feel too guilty even gifting to someone.

Viral TikTok Mango Candy

After seeing the new viral trend on TikTok, gummy mango candy that you can peel! I needed to try it. Recently while delivering for Door Dash I saw that they were being sold in Target. And while I do not support Target, I decided to get the candy to try. The experience was very enjoyable, peeling the candy and both parts being edible. But that's all they were... edible. They did not taste like "real mangos," and barely taste like artificial ones. To me, they taste like plastic. Chemical. I was sad to discover this, but it made sense to me, as I have yet to follow a TikTok trend that delivers what is promised in every video.
