Should have gone to Amberstudent in the first place. I have only praise for the service they provided to help me to secure student accomodation in London for my son. As soon as I made an enquiry, they were on it but not in a pushy way. Siddhant was fantastic and when things went wrong (no fault of Amber) he stuck with us giving advice and support to get things resolved. Very patient! I only have positive things to say about this company and would definitely recommend. What’s more, my booking deposit was returned as soon as the booking was confirmed. It’s a pity there aren’t more companies as good as this one.

Srishti was an absolute joy

£250 cashback promised in writing, still unpaid after 10 months
I booked a 33-week tenancy through Amber for the 2025/26 year. My assigned booking agent confirmed in writing via WhatsApp that I would receive a £250 cashback, payable 90–120 days after move-in. I booked on that basis.
I met every condition: full 33-week tenancy completed, rent paid in full, zero outstanding balance.
Payment was due around May 2026. I raised it with my agent then; he said he would escalate it and I never heard from him again. In August I submitted a full claim with nine supporting documents, including a screenshot from the property's own management system showing a £250 cashback voucher applied to my booking, and an email from the property confirming in writing that Amber, not the property, issues the payment.
What followed: five acknowledgements from five different representatives, two tickets closed as "solved" without any decision being communicated, and three ignored requests for a formal complaint reference.
In September the claim was declined on the basis that the cashback applies only to 2026/27 bookings — despite the voucher being recorded against my 2025/26 booking on the property's system. I appealed with that evidence on 8 September and asked Amber to produce the 2025/26 promotional terms it was relying on. A month later, I have had no response at all.
The booking process itself was efficient. Getting Amber to honour what it promised in writing has not been. After months of chasing with no result, I can't recommend Amber to other students until this is resolved.

A wonderful experience..
