I have undertaken much longer psychologist-led personality and logical reasoning tests a few times in my life. These tests produced results that were NOT in line with those, presumably more reliable, tests. The personality assessment picked up on the strongest tendencies (accurate), but produced close to the average results for the rest of the metrics (not so accurate). The logical reasoning test result was close to average, while I have consistently tested into the highest percentile in previous tests (again, not accurate).

I wonder how reliable a test with only 20 questions can be compared to the standard batteries that are around 100 or more? I feel like these test batteries skimp on quality to make a product that is maximally easy to use. Perhaps in order to market these tests to industries and positions where full-scale tests aren’t very useful… but perhaps one ought to question where a lite version is.

I hate how this test is used and it's seemingly pointless. It's hard to determine how "logical" somebody is based on a 20 minute test. When they do IQ tests for example it usually lasts longer. Not to mention it's done in person and the person that gave you the test can take notes of things you can't take note of digitally. Not to mention this service is used for employees trying to work in a store. What matters the most when working in a store is how you interact with customers (speaking from experience). I can't even imagine how many qualified people haven't gotten hired at beginer jobs because they didn't get a high enough score on a shein IQ tests. I didn't have any personal problems with the personality test. We go to school so people can check how qualifed we are. This is time wasting at its finest

It has been a very interesting test both the logic and the personality one. I liked it because obviously it was difficult but clear and intelligent at the same time. I checked the results and they match completely my character, skills and attitudes

The personality test is good and provides competitive result. Whereas, the logical test is much harder than expected. The software needs to show how harder it would be. So, the candidate prepare well for the test by external sources and then appears for test.

The process, from receiving the invitation to taking the tests and viewing the results, was smooth and easy to follow. Knowing the number of questions each test contains is helpful. Alva's personality test questions were straightforward. I liked that the results for both tests were detailed enough to understand where you stand. It would have been nice, though, to know what questions were wrong in the logic test.

I thought it was a fun experience! Some of the questions were a “little bit tricky” and pushed me to really think about how I am as a person. So, a very good and fun task to do.

This company produces bizarre logical tests that HR loves to use to weed out good talent.
Even if you are perfectly qualified for the job, and a good fit, this test can ruin everything.

I also asked some colleagues who said that getting a high score on the test doesn't even grant you any perks in the hiring process, my friend was in the top 0.1% and they saw no reason to grant him a better salary than a lower scorer. These tests are complete BS and benefit literally no one.

The tests from Alva Labs were intuitive and fun to do. The logical test was sometimes complicated and pushes you, this is the purpose. I wish there were a couple of tests instead of one to test other logical aspects. The personnality test was interesting too and gives good and coherent insights on the candidate's personnality.
