Absolute Crooks! Took $2600 for a business class flight, I got NOTHING in return. Stole every penny. I had to cancel a trip due to covid and was promised a credit for a year. I tried to book another flight but Ken Avino were VERY slow responding to me then tried to charge me another thousand dollars over the price I found by booking directly with the airline. I asked for a refund and was offered $800 which was never paid. I suppose changing the name from Flight Guru was another dodgy move! DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! LOTS OF OTHER REVIEWS SAME THE SAME THING

I booked tickets to Italy in January 2020 with Ken Avino for a May 2020 trip to Italy for my daughters wedding before Covid hit and shutdown travel. A credit was issued for these tickets and I which I was told could be used for future travel. FG272212
In August 2021 I tried to book a trip to Oregon for the rescheduled wedding but somehow could not find any flights. I dealt with Ken until he just stopped answering my emails. They then sent me to Kate Reese but the results were the same (no flights). When I sent them information from 3 different airlines and which flights I’d like, they said they still couldn’t get tickets right now but some may open up later. After waiting over three week and with my trip time fast approaching, I went on line and had to pay for one of the flights options I had sent them. Took me 5 minutes but somehow they as pros couldn’t find any tickets!
I then gave them two other destinations and time frames for future travel ( Dec 2021 and March 2022) in case just a months lead time was too short for them to be able to handle. To date still no word. After the first travel time passed I sent another reminder in January and they said they would get right on it but three weeks later still no word. They sure were fast to charge my credit card but somehow can’t make any of the reservations on the flights I have requested. I am sure I will not hear anything before my credits expire. Total rip off.

In an earlier review, I explained that we had booked flights from Florida to Portugal and England through them in 2019. With flights canceled due to COVID we were told we would have a credit but no refund. When we recently tried to use that credit to book new flights, no one answered the phone, emails were not responded to and voicemails were unanswered. Clearly we were extremely disappointed and assumed the $7,000 in airfare that we had paid was lost to us, thus the very unfavorable review I posted. However, following the posting of that review, we were contacted by Agent Paul Amit, who indicated he had been ill and had been unable to respond to inquiries for an extended time. Because of the concerns we had, he arranged for our credit to be extended to December 2023 from May 2022. After that initial contact, we requested he book flights from Tampa to Paris for this fall. Mr. Amit was extremely supportive and efficient, finding a range of different options. He eventually booked flights that met all of our requirements and was responsive to all our requests. He clearly changed our view of the AlphaFlightGuru as a booking agent. However, the firm should improve their client communication system and be more responsive to inquiries, thus the 4 star rather than 5 star rating.

I think everybody once had a trip to another country. You perhaps know that you have to book hotels beforehand. Of course, I did the same no long before the flight and everything was okay. However, unfortunately something has happenned to my booking and I had to find new service for booking a hotel. This service helped me a lot and even rescued me, beause if there would be no such services that times, I would miss my flight and trip. So, I'm really thankful to this company, because they did everything quite fast and with high quality.

I am totally satisfied with Alpha Flight Guru and praise Emily Collins for her competence and professionalism in providing an excellent travel experience. For the past several years I have contacted Emily each time I have wanted to travel abroad and each occasion was pleasurable for my wife and me, and most recently, for my friend and me.

Our round-trip travel from Denver to Paris on July 18/28 was the finest business class experience I can remember and it was Emily who found us the flights and the seats.

All who read this review should consider engaging Alpha Flight Guru and Emily Collins when they plan their international travel. I have already contacted Emily for our next trip in November.

My flight was cancelled 6 months ago and Flightguru received a voucher for that flight. Great....No one told me. I've tried to contact them...nothing. I do not have a flight home from vacation in 3 weeks. As of now, No one has returned my calls or emails. Basically my impression at this point is that they have my money and I've been scammed.
Oh and forget about the 24/7 customer service and the emergency numbers they give you… no one ever comes in the line. I’ve called both 3 times, waited over 45 min each time. NOTHING!!

UPDATE;
After hearing back from them, I was issued a voucher for future flights. I’m satisfied with that. We’ll see what the future holds!

Have contacted the company four times each time have received a call or email with in one minute of the contact telling me they were contacting me and did not know I contacted their support. Have waited four days still no tickets. Money was charged to card immediately
Manager called just after I posted review. With a little work they finally got their act together. There was a small problem with flight times listed n e-ticket but turned out to be a mistake on the part of whoever sent the ticket. May give them another try but then again I have the number of the manager.

Amazing service and dedicated staff! I had some issues with my flight and Emily helped me to solve it with patience, kindness and 100% dedication!

Changing flight date and she responses every time, most of the time very quick!

However I would like to give the company a suggestion:
If they can email customer a receipt whenever there is a charge/fee.

I`m really impressed how this company handled my rebooking. Since I couldn`t travel in the summer 2020 with my existing tickets with Flight Guru, they gave me a travel voucher/credit. When time came up to book the tickets for 2021 summer, certain issues came up with extra fares. When I complained, one of the regional directors of sales took over and he professionally and conscientiously arranged my rebooking with no extra fare. I`m so grateful for Fevos Karachalios for making it so easy and I will definitely use this company in the future and highly recommend them to anybody.

Last year I booked a round trip with the help of Robert. Because of Covid I was unable to use the return flights, but am hoping to use them this fall. In addition I want my flights to be co-ordinated with a friend‘s who will be joining me this summer. This was a complicated process which was handled very patiently and professionally by Robert who also kept me well informed throughout. I will recommend this service to all my traveling friends!

Had an incident involving an unauthorized person, but acquaintance, using our card to make a reservation that went through Flight Guru booking. They were surprisingly personal and flexible in terms of resolving it without incurring a charge for us, even escalating to managerial level automatically without my asking when the situation being discussed clearly has some nuance.
