Unit (HD55) when working, was great. Unit quit working after a month. Customer service is non existent. I’ve reached out via email, phone, even Facebook messenger. Cannot get a hold of anyone.
Wasted my money on what I thought was a good unit.
I bought a WiFi AlorAir-C dehumidifier less than 2 years ago. The WiFi is very difficult to set up despite getting full reception to my router. The App is absolutely a waste. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It quit working completely months ago. Alorair first told me they’ve abandoned the app and a new app should be available in about 6 months. They’ve since reset my password twice. Telling me to use the password they gave me and to not change it. If I want to change it, I need to give them my new password and they’ll change it. (Security???). Now, I’m told they might have something working in 1-2 months. I paid extra to get WiFi with an app. Complete waste of time and money!

They offered a partial refund of 10% which I was surprised and received within 24 hours. My unit is not compatible with their new app which is disappointing. Getting to this point was annoying. I changed to 3-stars almost was going to give 4.
I purchase a commercial grade dehumidifier from this company. Setting it up was a bit clunky with the App. I purchase back in 2022. Recently my app stop working and their tech support is horrendous. Fortunately, I did not need a warranty repair thank God.
My App just stopped working after 4 years. On the sign in screen, it has INACTIVE ACCOUNT. So, I was able to find a contact email address on their website and the fun and games begun.
Before they would help me, I already registered online for the warranty. I had to supply my Order Number from 4 years ago, Date of Purchase, Picture of Product Plate on the unit, Serial Number, Picture of the Error Code, Model Number, Iphone MAC address (which I never knew there was one) and Iphone IOS. I am not joking just for the App not working. I got the feeling they were stone walling me.
I purchased this unit because of the remote management capability the unit is hard to get to where I have it. I wouldn't purchase from this company again not that it matters they are from China which creates a whole other issue with tech support.
The unit itself only had one issue with the pump since I purchased, I just had to clean it and its back online less the remote management App. What I use to be able to on my Iphone I have to go to the unit.
My crawl space dehumidifier failed after 18 months. My HVAC maintenance company, who sells and services Alorair, diagnosed as leaking refrigerant from the coil assembly. Because I bought the unit directly from Alorair, Alorair would only deal with me directly. Their customer service department jerked me around for 3 weeks, saying they had escalated my claim to their engineering team, but not helping after repeated calls and emails. The warranty is a scam. Do not buy from this company.
The warranty is useless. I've had 2 units fail in 3 years and the first time I paid $200 to get a new unit with NO WARRANTY rather than pay the $300 for shipping. Now this one is bad and they will not do anything about it. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. Customer service is abysmal to say the least
Company said unit was wifi and remote controlled. Paid over $700 and machine didn't work that way. Company said they had trouble with the app and was developing a new one. They stalled and stalled. When the new one didn't work they said they would send me a new control panel and sent me a video how to install it. They never sent the part. When I again called for a tracking number, they told me I needed to pay them another $100 for the part. I refused and told them that I wasn't going to give more money in the hopes it works this time. I told them I wanted my money back. They told me the 30 day return was past. They knew this from the beginning and stalled until the return time was up. Worthless machine and company!
Non existant customer support that run you around with nothing ever being rectified.Units dont have wifi capability as new wifi app rendered all previous units incompatible.Brand new units sold require wifi board upgrade to work with new app.Ebay fully refunded purchase as units are not as described by Alorair.
app is still not working and to add to the below, now app is completely in total locked out. Tried creating new accounts on 4 different devices. Error "Login Expired."
Cant reset anything as no email is sent to reset. The one time months ago I received an email, it was all dead links.

The major reason for this unit purchase is the wifi app and its not working. Registered with every single one of these clumsy app's and reset the unit while trying to get it to work. Spent atleast 5 hours in total with these unbelivable flimsly app's. NONE OF THEM WORK.

Great customer service. I had a dehumidifier go bad under 1 year. After contacting warranty support and sending them the required photos and information, they promptly sent me a new unit.
No hassle, very easy to work with and great communication.
