The agent contacted me via WhatsApp before my arrival to advise me where to meet at the airport to bring me to the rental. The transaction was smooth but the car was given with a empty tank of fuel. The car was in good condition and have rented many cars in many different countries but this was the first rental asked to have the car washed before returning it. As I did not know that, I had to pay the agent when returning the car.ĺ

Do not hire your car here. They require credit card with full name. Then they directly withdraw 800 euro from your credit card as deposit. No reservations… First car you get: loose underpanel, lots of noise during driving. Then you bring the car back with a small scratch on the bumper. Your full 800 euro is charged. The invoice is already there. They say: the insurance will pay anyway. Stay away from these scam artists. They operate under Alma car rental, Drive Rent a Car and Abby Car.

The fraudsters who will claim you caused damage that was clearly not caused by you and then keep your 800€ deposit. In addition they will give you faulty cars.
We received a seat leon that lost air in one tire which we had the car alert us about after driving 40km. We brought it back to them and they seriously asked us to bring the car to a repair shop and pay for it ourselves. We insisted they repair it and they eventually did. Days later, when we tried to return it, they tried to make us responsible for a dent we cleary didn't cause and tried to keep our deposit telling us to get our money back from check 24 (the company we booked it through and we had full insurance with) which would constitute insurance fraud. We refused, called check 24 and even they told us it was likely fraud and we should call the police to document it. Police didn't come after 3 calls despite driving past the airport twice. The owner of alma car hire laughed and said he always wins.
This company will play with your lifes by giving you unsafe cars and take your money. Avoid at all costs.

Marrakesh airport office did an excellent job. They meet you in the airport parking lot (2 min walk from terminal exit) and the whole process takes about 5 minutes. Friendly multilingual staff. No problems with the car, even after 9 days on dirt roads, etc.

De la prise en charge à la restitution du véhicule, tout s'est très bien passé avec Alma Car à Casablanca. Youssef de Alma Car a été très accueillant et impliqué pendant nos conversations. Il m'a conseillé sur de nombreux aspects pratiques (conduite, priorités, stationnement, etc). Le véhicule loué était neuf, propre et facile à conduire. Expérience parfaite !

L'auto noleggiata era in condizioni impeccabili, praticamente nuova (45 km) e perfettamente pulita sia all'interno che all'esterno. Si vedeva chiaramente l'attenzione dedicata alla manutenzione e all'igienizzazione del veicolo.

Worst company. I booked a mid-sized car, but they gave me a compact car and lied to me that it was the same class. Even though I had full coverage insurance, they demanded additional money for administrative costs and towing fees. If you don't want your trip to be ruined, avoid this company. Never, ever use this company. It's a fraud company.

I had made the reservation through a website and at first it seemed like a good offer when I arrived at the counter to pick up the car. First they took all my ID, driving license, credit card and everything looked good. Then they asked me to pay an additional €100.00 for ,road assistance, something that was not mentioned anywhere in the rental terms. When I pointed out to the cashier that they had a deposit of €800.00 in case I did not return the car exactly as I received it, he replied that if I did not pay the additional €100.00 (non-refundable) they could not give me the car, so I simply
Of course I did not proceed with the pick-up of the car Since I had prepaid the price, I felt insecure that upon return I would have other charges, I was forced to rent a car from another company, last minute booking which means I paid a much higher price, now I am trying to get at least my money back from the site where I made the booking.
Do not approach this merchant, better a little more expensive and rent from a branded company

Scammer Rental Car Companies

I rented a car in Istanbul. I made the car rental transaction through the vipcars.com website as the car rental company “Alma Car Hire” and the car delivery was made at the “AutoUnion Car Rental” office. The credit card payment receipt says “Comet Rent A Car”.

I made highway crossings with this vehicle. I made the toll payments of those who had Cash/Credit Card toll booths at the highway crossings via credit card at these toll booths. I notified the car rental company of this situation when I delivered the vehicle.

The car rental company adds a 35% service fee to the HGS toll for the toll transactions made with the HGS tag in the vehicle and reflects the result to the customers by adding VAT at 20%. In other words, by adding a service fee to the HGS passes, the VAT of which has already been included by tollway company, and adding VAT to the result again, it reflects a total of 55% additional expense to the customer.

The aforementioned car rental company invoiced me a service and VAT fee to the passes that I had already paid at the cash toll booths and withdrew them from my credit card against my will.

Although I reached vipcars.com and the rental company many times and explained the situation with the payment receipts, they did not correct the situation. In fact, they keep trying to get away from this case and not wanting to resolve the issue.

The HGS fee they should normally charge me:
47+39+370 = 456 TL + 35% + 20% = 706.80 TRY
The HGS fee actually charged to me: 2908 TRY
Amount I have been damaged: 2908 - 706.80 TL = 2201.20 TRY

Apart from this, the vehicle is delivered to me dirty that I had to clean my window and mirrors in order to drive safe.

The car condition was awful. It was full of damages, yet the company made me sign a paper which states no existing damage (before showing the car). The car was also not maintained. While I was driving, I heard noises from the gear box, and they didn't even mention any of these conditions when I received the car.

This company is a total SCAM. Stay away from renting any car from them!

Rien à redire, nous avons loué 8 jours une Dacia Sandero à Marrakech pour descendre jusqu'au désert vers Merzouga. Le véhicule avait 60000 kms avec quelques rayures et petites bosses mais cela n'est pas gênant pour rouler ainsi moins de soucis au retour pour récupérer la caution. Nous avons fait 1400kms sans aucun problème 😉
Très bon contact avec la personne qui nous a amené la véhicule 🤗
Tarif très correct 144€ la semaine avec assurance complète et 2eme conducteur

Very nice service, that makes you feel comfortable and welcomed (agent Hamza was my contact during returning the car) Professional service, easy return with no problems. Picking up the car in Marrakech takes some time but also with no problems and nice service. That company doesn’t offer they own insurance so it’s better to buy it at the car rental platform. Using Parking 2 in Marrakesh airport makes the pickup and return very easy.

Great experience!! Although they don't have an office at the airport, they can consign the car also there. In fact, we took it there and returned it in the city. Great communication: they contacted as by whatsapp some days earlier to prepare the paper. They explained us everything... Even how to connect the bluetooth. The car was almost new and perfectly working. Price excellent. I couldn't ask more and would hire the car by them again!
