Elendig kniv. 3x3 mm, men topservice

The Alligator vegetable cutter is…
The Alligator vegetable cutter is excellent, except for hard vegetables—there is a different device for those, which I also own. A part only broke after 13 years. Alligator offers great service; you can get replacement parts. Highly recommended.

I did not receive the purchased product at all. Instead, I was faced with a demand to pay several hundred euros for customs services from a customs broker recommended by your postal agent (Fedex).

Thank you for your patience.
We wanted to reach out and let you know that the delay with your order has been caused by US customs processing. With the new import duties currently in effect, customs clearance is taking longer than usual for shipments entering the United States — this is unfortunately outside of our control and affecting deliveries across the board.
The good news is that the issue has now been resolved, and your order will be on its way to you within the next couple of days.
We appreciate your understanding and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. If you have any questions in the meantime, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards, Mathias Alligator of Sweden info@alligators.se

Excellent quality compared to others I've tried
tried a couple of cheaper, more popular options on amazon and they break quite easily, are hard to clean, and the blades get dull within weeks. Been using this alligator chopper for about 3 weeks and it's still working perfectly. The heavy steel frame helps a ton with keeping it steady and solid on my countertop while chopping. The blades are still razor sharp and haven't dulled at all after moderate usage. Would recommend highly to those with a larger budget or just want to invest in something that will last a very long time.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review — this is exactly what Alligator of Sweden is built for.
You've put it perfectly: cheaper alternatives might look similar on the surface, but the difference shows up quickly in real use. Our 301 cold-rolled stainless steel blades are engineered to stay sharp, and the solid frame is no accident — it's precision Swedish design that makes the whole chopping experience more controlled and consistent.
Three weeks in and still razor sharp — that's just the beginning. With normal use, you can expect years of the same performance.
Thanks for recommending us, and welcome to the long-term club.

My one star review is NOT a review of…
My one star review is NOT a review of Alligator of Sweden, but rather a review of the the chosen shipper (FedEx) and its apparent inability to work with (or rather work around) the current USA Customs process that has become unmanageable for us mere humans. My Alligator Chopper is currently in US Customs hell and I have little confidence that it will ever be released for delivery to me. I have made four phone calls to FedEx and sent a detailed email to Alligator of Sweden, but to date, I cannot see a satisfactory resolution in my near future. For a $129 stainless steel veg chopper, US Customs wants to know many things about the manufacturer, including:
“Need the Country of melt and pour for the Stainless steel for clearance process with US Customs”
This is insane.

Thank you for your feedback.
We're sorry to hear about the difficulties you've experienced with the customs clearance process. Unfortunately, recent changes to U.S. import requirements have resulted in additional documentation requests on certain shipments, and these requirements are determined by U.S. Customs authorities rather than by FedEx or Alligator of Sweden.
As soon as we received your inquiry, we began working with both our logistics partners and the manufacturer to obtain the information requested by Customs. We understand how frustrating these delays can be, especially when you're eagerly awaiting your order.
We appreciate your clarification that your review reflects your experience with the shipping and customs process rather than with the Alligator product itself. We remain committed to assisting in any way we can and will continue to provide the requested documentation as quickly as possible to help move the shipment through customs.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
