Love the book, am planning on working on this for while, no rush. Also using scraps only. Heaven knows I have enough.

Apart from the initial difficulty in processing the payment for the quilt kit, the rest of the experience was easy. I had purchased the new book in Australia and decided to purchase the fabric, threads, papers etc from Alice Caroline. The parcel arrived in good condition and I was kept constantly informed of the location of the parcel. It only took 10 days to get from the United Kingdom to Australia.

Do you know that feeling you get just before you open your favourite box of chocolates ? Well that’s how I feel whenever I get my fabulous fabrics from Alice Caroline. It’s a real feast for my eyes whenever I look at all the fabrics. The staff are very helpful and polite and very happy to answer any questions that I had. A brilliant service all round.

Easy to negotiate website. Good communication once order placed sending through tracking information. Package only took one week to be delivered to Australia. Thrilled with the contents that was packaged so beautifully. Also loved that they included a fabric swatch chart for the kit.

I bought two copies of the book Alice’s Wonderland and my friend and I are working through it. We have found it easy to follow and our squares are going really well.

I am making Alice’Country Quilt .I haven’t bought the kit but sourced my tana lawn from a variety of places .
I have done EPP before so I have used waxed freezer paper and not card for the pieces .
This is not a quick make ;so I am making it one block at a time and so far it takes at least a fortnight of leisure time to create one completed block .I organised all my different fabrics into paper bags labelled eg rainbow one and once the pieces are cut for the block I am working on ,I keep them in a small lidded tin.I bought the templates Alice sells for this but made my own for the block minus seam allowance in the freezer paper and ironed these on to the fabric ( the wax sticks to the fabric temporarily leaving no mark ) and placed the bought template over the top and drew the shape so the seams were accurate . I used scissors to cut as the pieces are so small.
Use the fabric glue idea for seams as you can fiddle to make your pieces fit exactly together .
So far it’s coming together really well ,just be patient and enjoy the process.

The book is well laid out, and the instructions look easy to follow.
