I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor. Sean was incredibly understanding, helpful, always made me feel at ease and very approachable. Always willing to assist and goes above and beyond for his students to ensure his students succeed. Sean helped me build confidence in driving. I highly recommend Sean from Alfie’s driving school.

I came to this driving school after coming from another one. My instructor was Sean and he was fabulous, patient, professional and made the driving experience enjoyable. The techniques he taught me were second to none and I passed today with 0 driving faults. I can wholeheartedly say that Sean prepared me very well for the test. He was never late and always respectful of the time. His integrity is one of the reasons I was happy to stick with him. I would recommend that you book lessons now!

My instructor was Leon, I was really nervous going into my lessons. He was patient and really understanding & helped me a lot through the whole experience he was amazing got me test ready in a short amount of time was really easy to understand and learn from highly recommended

I can’t thank my driving instructor - Omer Khan - enough to teach and prepare me for my total driving experience. I passed 1st time with no minors or majors! This was all because Omer taught me well and helped highlight all the potential road hazards and how to preposition myself and prepare for my approach to these conditions. He made driving easy and fun. He was also most patient with my learning throughout all my lessons.

Was struggling at first with getting the hang of driving, impatient and uncooperative instructors who weren’t really teaching me or explaining anything to me. Switched to Alfie’s and saw a massive difference in my ability to drive and felt much more confident behind the wheel with an instructor who was patient and not afraid to give good feedback and advice on how I could improve on different skills! Passed first time, thank you so much!

I would highly recommend Alfie's Driving School, especially Davina my instructor. She was great at explaining all the maneuvers. She helped gain my confidence and was very patient with me over the 6 months of learning with her and I passed my driving test first time. I'm going to miss our lessons and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an instructor.

Had an amazing experience, Leon was so patient with me and taught me in a way that I was able to understand first time. I have an a few other instructors from different places but Leon was by far the best instructor I’ve had.

Although I had taken quite a few lessons with another instructor beforehand, Leon agreed to prepare me for the Driving Test itself. He quickly assessed my level and designed an intensive course of 8 lessons around the Loughton, Essex area that he believed would prepare me to pass the test. In fairness, I found the lessons very demanding. Leon doesn’t sit back and relax. He constantly questions and pushes to the limit, but this gets results. I passed my test, first time, and I was confident throughout. I understand that Leon’s success rate with his students is extremely high. I am not surprised. He is first class. Highly recommended.

After failing my first test, I started learning with Claire- 6 months later I have passed my second test with only 2 minors!! Claire is patient, concise and kind, I could not have passed without her. Would highly recommend her tutelage!!

Intensive driving course with Leon. Patient, concise and easy to talk to; a great teacher. I doubted my ability, but Leon kept spirits and confidence high throughout. Overall, a fantastic experience. Both myself and my wife passed first time. I passed with 2 minors. A huge thank you to Leon!

I passed my driving test yesterday first time with 4 minors at Hornchurch. Stephen was such a a great teacher, very patient and he help my so much with my driving over the last five month. I can't thank him enough. Thank you Alfie's you have a great teacher.

My experience of using Alfie’s couldn’t have gone better. My instructor Stephen was so supportive, helpful and extremely thorough. Also, thank you to Leon! I can’t thank the school and Stephen enough for helping me pass first time with minimal minors! It is a no brainer to choose Alfie’s if you want to pass with flying colours!

I had a driving lesson with Claire Tuesday at 2pm for an hour and an half. After my driving instructor not available for serious circumstances. I also was out of practice for 4 months but had my test coming up. I was nervous around roundabouts and needed to work on my positioning. We was going over these but second lesson I had with Claire she was picking up on things I did with my driver. Which I was happy to change she then shouted at me because as approached the roundabout i stopped to see a gap. She was not happy and wanted me to keep up with the flow of traffic and so with the next roundabout I was prepared if I needed to go. This time it wasn't so I put on my brakes as did she. She was shouting and I just couldn't concentrate after that let alone want to drive. I was still behind the line. Which was safe. In the lane unable to go onto the roundabout as she had lost control. I was then nervous and under confident. Leading to pressure over my driving. She's no teacher if she can't keep it together. She really was awful. I googled on driving over mini roundabouts not to sure if that should happen. As she had told me to go over. Feel very unsure and actually taken back over my ordeal. Although she had apologised for shouting I'm sure that is bad.
Even I could try and change my test if needs be but please stay professional. I paid £45 for what?? For my confidence to be shattered. Disappointing experience. She hopefully will learn from this but l'm still a human who is learning and has every right to.

I had my driving lessons with Sean. I’ve had about 5-6 lessons and passed my test first time, everything I’ve been taught by Sean has been perfect, made me really confident about my driving. Would definitely recommend!
