Steer clear of Alcatel products, they can't be trusted. Their top of the line smart phone can't handle the Instagram app. Even when I force-stop every other app that's running in the background.

If you're super lucky and you're ok to wait for 10 minutes for it to "buffer" or whatever it's doing in the background, you might get to use the SMS app and maybe make a phone call but that's about it.

When I say smart phone, the word "smart" I mean in an ironic sense. I would never buy anything from this company again because they can't be taken seriously.

Land Line Phones. Cheap and plasticky the leads are not long enough, you have to place the phones in aquand places especially the base lead which connects to the hub. Costs have been shaved everywhere and it shows.

For The money the phone is quite excellent. It has a really good video. And excellent, still pictures. And the first class Screen that is as good as my Samsung. And even a bit brighter with a little more contrast.
The president's person

I purchased a mobile phone from them in the Arndale Centre Market, and believe me, they are not honest. They sold me a second-hand phone that is of no use. I tried to get a refund, but they were more than obstructive. I would not recommend this company or their management. Wasted money and time on this.

Disastruous! I received a tablet Plus 10 running Windows 10 Home 32 bits and because its memory was already used 100% by previous person I could not reset it to original state or even to use it. So I reinstalled Windows 10 from scratch and now I am looking all the internet to find a suitable driver since camera not working (it says there is not any camera!), the SIM connection is inexistent etc etc. I contacted them and they sent me the link from their site I already knew where the so-called drivers for this model are incompatible or cannot be downloaded since they are not in .exe file format! And I tried via Device Manager to add Legacy Hardware but the massage there tells me there is not any driver in the folder I wanted to download! And it seems they are not interested in this problem since how they wrote me: the tab is already 5 years old and no support anymore! I expected more seriousness from this old and as I knew big company! I bought a mobile phone from them already in end of 1990-s but I will not buy something again from them in the future!

As there a alcatels limiting theres numbering of a updated of the devicers so there unstabilities do not enjoy to become commonplace over there network paving stone deep grilled david.

Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to the Alcatel Mobile Care Team.
In regards to your Android OS update, please keep in mind that Alcatel’s portfolio, consists mainly of entry level devices, in order to offer you the best price per device but also to ensure that our end users are enjoying the best experience in terms of usage.

Keep in mind that an OS upgrade may lead to instability, due to the technical specifications and hardware of the device.
Therefore, we limit the number of OS upgrades on our device.

Furthermore the update from one Android OS version to another Android OS version, is also subjected to the Google Team decisions, as they are the ones that decide if a version of OS gets an upgrade.

Hopefully, this answers your question, if you have any other issues or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Kind regards,
Ana

Alcatel 1T7 is a nightmare it switches itself off and on after 30 minutes, while you are busy. You can control its on and offs whenever it decides it does so.

I have .. very briefly had two alcatel phones .. both returned very swiftly.
They are absolute junk .. poorly made, do not work properly ..and the feeble apology for instructions .. a tiny inadequate leaflet in 3pt. grey type (grey! .. what is wrong with clear black?
instructed or online .. nothing on text input caps to l/c or numericals .. loads of necessary information just not available.
French/Chinese junk .. avoid it like the plague.

Absolutely ridiculous whoever made these pathetic excuses of phone ls should be ashamed of themselves as soon as you open another tab on Google the first one dissapears I was trying to pay for online shopping and had to approve it through the bank website so I minimised the online shopping website and after I approved payment went back and the trolley had emptied. Absolutely useless phones don't waste your money I threw my Alcatel off a wall in frustration they will cost you your sanity aswell as money I cannot stress it enough AVOID AVOID AVIOD.

Bought an Alcatel flip phone. within hours came to write texts and it auto changed itself from letters to unreadable words (I don't use T9 so not the problem) and I had to keep resetting it. my partner got me a more up-to-date model and again it auto-changed words for numbers again I was constantly having to reset it. my adivce. don't waste your money on Alcatel rubbish take heed of what others say.

Terrible phones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
