I have allotted five stars as the lads were in general very good, friendly and obliging. My only criticism is the lack of care taken with moving my Christmas cactus which I have had for 25+ years. It sustained a massive amount of damage and I feel that it could have been handled differently. I accept that it is a large and heavy plant but with a little more thought and care it should have survived in a better state.

The team from Britannia Pink & Jones were great, very friendly and worked hard to pack us up. It was not a straight forward move as we were moving some stuff to our new house and some stuff to a storage facility and we were moving from Rugby to Scotland! I had marked everything clearly and there was a mix up with some stuff going to store that should have come to the house and vice versa but overall the team were really good and obviously I cannot comment on the stuff in store as we have not unpacked that but everything that did come to the house was packed really well and there were no breakages. The two guys who came to deliver our stuff to the house and then take the rest on to the storage facility were brilliant and worked so hard to get everything sorted for us, they really were excellent. I would recommend Britannia Pink & Jones especially if you are just doing a house to house move.

Joanne was really helpful in making arrangements when completion date kept changing. Movers were really helpful, quick and careful.

This was a big move from Norfolk to essex.the 2 men that moved us were brilliant
.nothing was to much trouble.also had a sense of humour that took away the stress.

From the moment we met Shirley we were impressed with this company. She was very thorough and easy to deal with. As our date for moving was very sudden in the end, Shirley came back to requote so as to take into account all that we’d moved to a storage unit.
On removal day the small van arrived early and the guys got on with starting the pack. The big van arrived later and we were all packed up ready to go before 11am. At the other end, the team had us moved in by 2.30. A great bunch of guys, we couldn’t have wished for a smoother move. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic service! The team was friendly, efficient and very careful with all our belongings. They made the move stress-free for us. I’m really pleased and would definitely use them again.

The move is going well but we lost a bin and the lid of the other one, and also the mower tray was damaged, I sent an email to the company asked if there was any compensation but they totally ignored me and never answered. We paid for the a big lorry and 2 vans but at the end they just put everything in the big lorry and we never see the 2 vans, I think I overpaid for the service.

There was nothing I could fault. The packing up was efficient and we were delayed unloading but they pulled out all the stops and unloaded very quickly. Thank you.

Arrived on time loaded fast were unloading before we arrived which was good, just finished as it started to pour with rain, smooth operation great bunch of lads.
Only two minors, damaged socket while removing large fridge freezer, which I was able to quickly replace, and said FF door bracket got left behind but was posted to us, all in all excellent result, highly recommended

Very professional and helpful in what was not the easiest moves due to restricted access at destination

Brittania were well organised and slick, making the days leading up to and beyond, as well as the moving day itself, very straightforward.

All my belongings lost in a storage fire. Beware Alan Cooke. Cause arson no payment, negligence denied, fire and risk assessments audits denied. All concern for customers on Facebook page removed. I trusted this company. Fighting for at least a refund of removal and storage costs.

All began well with a visit from Chris to estimate the requirements for our move.
A quotation duly arrived which was clear and speedily reworked when our requirements suddenly changed.
The methodical approach the removal team adopted, room by room, allowed us to clean the house as rooms were cleared. A clear plan as to where things would go at the destination helped with moving in at the new location.
Beds were disassembled and reassembled at the other end (good job we had some tools to hand!) which was much appreciated.
The guys, Terry & Tom on the first day (did the packing up), Terry, Tom & Sam did the delivery and unpacking at the destination were stoical and did a great job.
Shirley, in the office, checked in to see that things were going according to plan and when a problem arose with our completion she was able to offer some flexible options.
Boxes to be collected, next week.
All in all a great team and Britannia’s involvement in our move was the best bit!

Our move was somewhat complicated as we were moving from North Norfolk to Lancashire.

This required that the furniture needed to be stored for a day before its onward travel to the destination.
We did see quotes from more than one removal firm but can honestly say that Alan Cook was by far offered a complete service at a competitive price. The removal Men did an exceptional job both in terms of packing and loading goes in North Norfolk and unpacking goes in Lancashire. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone

Called head office number as advertised in order to get a quote. Called three times on the same number. Later found out that the calls had cost me £8.91 as they use a premium number. Spoke with local office to complain. They stated that they would contact head office to complain on my behalf and informed me that they did not know that using this number incurred high fees. Waited two weeks and have had no response from local office or head office. Ripped off for requesting a quote !!! Beware. Do not use the number advertised 0845 6006661. How are you supposed to know what number to use for your local branch ???

Exellent guys on moving day, super quick loading and unloading. Great banter helped make it feel less stessful. No damaage to any of our furniture.

Moving home is very stressful and your guys were wonderful. They were hardworking, very real, friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend them and use them again when we move again in the Summer. Ps. They love biscuits!!! Xxx

I have used Britannia twice now they are very professional

Removal went very well. Staff very helpful and efficient on the day. The one thing I am not happy about is that it looks very likely I will have to recycle the boxes myself there are approximately 80 taking up room in my garage. The branch that I am now under said they are not planing to come to my area at present and I may have to recycle myself , I am not physically able to deal with all these boxes.
