Never used AG before. Am so fed up with poor scans and customer service of other "northern labs" so I tried AG.
After receiving my negs they were scanned in a few days and returned a few days later.
There was a hick up with my scans having scanned them at the wrong size however they did redo them quickly.
Efficient service. Maybe a little more attention to detail admittedly however im not going to knock them for a mistake. They took ownership of it and thats the important thing (unlike another not so far away lab i used).
People seem to be complaining about slow turn around. I think thats unfair. I would rather have my negs developed properly and scanned with some professionalism than be in and out quickly and not caring. Quality over quantity should be any business model.

This used to be a very good company but is now unreliable and slow. Before Christmas, I sent some films for developing After a week of waiting I found that they had relocated to the North East despite still showing in Birmingham on their website. There was no notice of this despite being on their mailing list. I was assured they were back to normal (ie 24 hours in lab) and sent a film on 11 Jan. Now a week later still waiting and no answer from their phone number. I will not be using them again. I looked to order some film and it all seems out of stock. They really need to improve their communication and start to be honest about their turnround times.

First class service, first class results, it just does not get any better than this for film developing and scans! A+++++++

Highly recommend. Have sent quite a few black and white films to them for processing and scanning to CD. The results are constantly good and always a fast turnaround. Posted my film on Monday in one of AG's pre paid envelopes and the results arrived back today (Saturday). Great service.

Amazing service for an even more amazing price. I enquired about film stock and got a timely and informative response. I have developed multiple rolls of film on multiple occasions and the results were fab and quick. Highly recommend.

Best film developing service I’ve used. I explained on the phone that I had a deadline and Nick was incredibly understanding, making sure my film got developed as soon as it arrived. Will definitely be using AG for any future developing!

I would like to say a huge thank you to Ag, especially David, who did a superb job with my latest C41 process and scan. The film I had sent in had expired a long time ago and David did an excellent job. Someone had recommended Ag to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional company for their photography work.

I’ve ordered developing from AG twice now and I am happy to say that I will be ordering from them again. The first time, everything went nice and smoothly, excellent quality development and scanning. Second time, excellent quality development and scanning but a bit of miscommunication on both ends but AG has been very helpful resolving this issue.

Dropped a film in for dev and scanning at around 11:30 on a Monday morning. Received the scans at 14:23 the same day, and that was with the scans being colour corrected. I wonder what the delay was? :)
Always excellent work and very prompt. Scans are great quality too.

Ag-photographic/photolab are absolutely first class. I use the photolab and I can't fault them, fast turnaround, knowledgable, great customer service and excellent value.

I sent some film away to be developed on the Monday and it was developed and delivered back to me by Friday. The photos were great quality too - highly recommend!

Pretty efficient and responsive. Unfortunately a streak on only some of scans, they believe is the camera fogging instead of developing. Camera had just been professionally serviced so little confusing, but overall the service is good

Brilliant service! Always accommodate my weird and wacky films and very fast turnaround! Last roll I had developed was same day turnaround! Cant fault them!

First time dealing with film photography so the process was new to me, sent in via freepost, delivery was cheap, turnaround was a day and the quality was fantastic. 10/10.

Excellent. I've used them twice now and I'm very happy. Sent six colour films for developing and was a very fast turnaround. Second time had five colour films developed and bought some film, and again a really fast turnaround and good email updates when they received my film and when they despatched my order. Great prices too, will use agin!

Brilliant! Fast, friendly response to original email enquiry. AG managed to get a decent amount of photos from 25 year old 110 films (which we thought were Mums, were actually sisters!). Refunded for one film that was an empty cartridge. Very fast turnaround at a more than reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

Can't fault them for speed of service when using on line ordering.Unfortunately unable to get a response to any email enquiries.
Might be my system or theirs blocking Hotmail?
