First the fact that this bookseller exists!!! Makes my life so much easier knowing I can go to just one place to find books by Black authors...truly a life saver!!

My book arrived on time from this amazing book shop located in Brighton which is a one of a kind curated haven for black authors.

I've never been anywhere like Afrori books. It is such a warm and inviting space, the staff are wonderfully kind and informative, the cafe is reasonably priced and it's super cosy! Definitely, a must-visit for anyone going to Brighton for the weekend

Bought it for my friend's child who just turned one. She absolutely loves books and people reading to her. She'll point at images and turn the pages if there is a pause because she thinks you've finished reading that section. This was therefore very welcome. Beautiful illustrations and great content.

I haven't yet read the book, but ordering and delivery were straightforward and quick.

Chased 3 times over both email and instagram before finally receiving a reply telling me there was a mix up at the warehouse which was the reason for my order taking almost 2 weeks to arrive.

The books themselves are fine but customer service is very disappointing.
I requested my delivery fee to be refunded and my emails have been ignored.
