Liesl and her company take such pride in giving her clients the best experience ever. She gets to know you and puts a holiday together that you will never forget. She pays such attention to detail and you are taken care of from the time you board the plane til the end of your vacation. She picked two fabulous safaris that meet our needs. The staff were spectacular and gave us a five star experience. She also picked our a private guide for us in Capetown . We felt extremely safe and enjoyed the beautiful culture and people of Capetown. I highly recommend this company. I would rate me experience 20/5.

Our trip was fantastic. Liesl ensured that we visited 2 spectacular lodges and arranged all travel between them. We ended our trip in Cape Town at a beautiful hotel with a fabulous guide. Liesl also arranged for a beautiful evening at one of our lodges as it was our anniversary. We would highly recommended Liesl and her team for anyone wanting a spectacular Safari experience. From the first day, Ilze was wonderful. She kept in contact with us throughout the trip and made sure our experience was perfect. The accommodations she recommended were truly incredible and our trip couldn't have been more enjoyable. My wife and I misplaced our passports on a flight from Zimbabwe to Johannesburg, and she was able to track them down when the airline couldn't. She's nothing short of amazing.

Every aspect was top shelf. Having someone meet us as soon as we stepped off the plane and having folks guide us every step of the way was so comforting. The venues were spectacular and Antony our guide was special. Great guy.

When our travel friends had a bump in the road Ilze went beyond the call of duty to help them out. An 11 out of 10.

From initial safari consultation to post tour follow-up, Camille gave us the perfect service. Everything went smoothly and punctually. We are satisfied 120%!!! I would recommend their service to anyone who want to enjoy safari!

Camille was very helpful in giving us options that worked for us and very responsive to our questions and we felt well taken care of. We were happy with the game reserve with very nice people and also all the transportation came on time and very reliable.

ASC is our go to for Africa trips. This is our second. Having not travel there enough to make our own informed decisions about many issues, we relied on Liesl and her team to make some critical choices about where we visited how we got there and where we stayed when we got there.

This trip to east Africa had many logistical challenges and opportunities for frustration. However, Liesl always seems to be one step ahead, and the whole trip was flawless.

Transfers, guides, accommodations, we’re all perfect, and as she described to us before we left the US. This experience was very similar to our earlier trip to South Africa.

The staff were all kind, caring and provided a first class stay. The guides and trackers made sure that we saw more animals than we could have imagined. We were there for 10 days just before Christmas and stayed at 3 different camps and we can't say anything bad. We saw the big 5 within a day or two. The best way to explain a safari is you are in complete trust of these animals as they are in complete trust of you being there. If you allow yourself to see the beauty of this it can touch your soul. This is a top notch agency that knows what they are doing and I would go back to them again if I ever get another chance to go back to South Africa.

Experience counts and I’m sure it was Camille’s 40+ years of experience in African safaris that made our recent trip to Tanzania a smooth and very enjoyable experience. This was the fifth trip she had organised for us and certainly met our expectations. Eight days on safari in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Our guides were knowledgeable and helpful. Then four nights relaxing at the beautifully sited Zawadi hotel in Zanzibar. All our transfers were on time, even when flight times changed at short notice. Thanks again Camille!

It was an exceptionally wonderful trip. We enjoyed every moment and met so many wonderful people from staff to guides to transfers to fellow travelers. The elephants were spectacular and especially generous in showing us their majestic ways.

The advance details of our itinerary ensured there would be no surprises. Liesl was responsive to every concern we had.
Her selected sequence of game reserve locations allowed us to enjoy a breadth of sightings and experiences that allowed us to check every box on what we hoped to accomplish.
Weaving in a visit to Victoria Falls as an interlude from land-based travel to water-based provided a welcome change. Seeing a herd of elephants swimming in the Zambezi River during our sunset cruise from Livingstone was the highlight experience.

Liesl Matthews, over a period of 4 years and forced cancellations, made a lifetime dream come true. Every moment of our trip that she planned was perfection. My partner, Billy, and I had wanted to go on safari our whole lives and it was even better than we had ever thought possible. The Honeyguide Mantobeni was incredible with an amazing staff and incredible food. Laying in bed at night and listening to lions and hyenas at night was beyond description. Our guide, Michael, made sure we saw The Big 5 and added the African Painted Dog and Cheetah to make the Magnificent 7. His Ferrari Safari had us flying from our seats. We did a bush walk with the wonderful Nathan who made us feel very safe and comfortable. Four days in Capetown, planned by Liesl with a driver who knew the history of Capetown and its surrounds was a true joy. We loved the beautiful town of Hermanus where we watched whales from the beach and went to Boulders Beach and Betty's Bay to view the most amazing South African Penguin show. I would recommend Liesl and African Safari Consultants to anyone wanting to make their dreams come true.

All in all it was the best trip we have ever been on!

everything was awesome. all the way from meeting us as we get off the plane, customs, luggage etc... the transportation from country to country was smooth and everything worked smoothly without any complications. the lodges were awesome, people were friendly. i highly recommend Liesl to help with your trip to Africa.
