AE Architectes is a contemporary architecture and interior design practice based in Marrakech, Morocco, founded in 2022 by Aimad El Kanit — a graduate of the École Nationale d'Architecture de Rabat (ENA) and a registered member of the Ordre National des Architectes du Maroc. We design and deliver luxury villas, high-end residences, boutique hotels, and riad renovations for a discerning clientele across Morocco and abroad, with a strong focus on international clients from France, Belgium, Switzerland, and the UK building or investing in Marrakech. Our approach rests on three commitments: precision, direct involvement, and buildable architecture. Every plan we draw is designed to be executed exactly as intended, with construction-ready details resolved at the design stage rather than improvised on site. Aimad El Kanit remains the single point of contact on every project, from the first sketch to final handover — no delegation, no loss of continuity. We have completed projects at Atlas Golf Resort, Argane Golf Resort, Les Jardins de l'Atlas, and Guéliz, ranging from contemporary villas to multi-unit residential compounds and commercial buildings. We also bring specific expertise to riad renovation and conversion into licensed guest houses within Marrakech's UNESCO-listed medina, including full support through the Moroccan classification process. Whether you're building a private residence, investing in a rental property, or restoring a historic riad, AE Architectes offers a rigorous, transparent, and personally managed process — from your first email to the day we hand over the keys.

We're originally from Miami and were pretty nervous about building a villa in Marrakech from thousands of miles away but Aimad made it easy, he was quick to respond, honest about timelines. The plans were actually followed on site instead of changing every other week like we'd heard happens here
