We discussed our situation and after the survey he explained everything to us.
He sent a report and photos and the outcome was very satisfactory.

The reviews for this company looked good, so I called to make enquiries. The representative I spoke with (Lydia) was extremely pleasant and helpful, explaining the company's terms very clearly and professionally. I received a visit from Lionel Sewell, who carried out a thorough examination of the area concerned and talked me through the probable causes and courses of action, showing me thermal imaging and photos to explain the details. He was very pleasant , I was absolutely pleased with the results which were sent to me in detail (with copies of photos and imaging etc) within 24 hours. £250 well spent (this sum is deductable if they do the remedial work).

We contacted Advanced Damp to help us with a damp issue on one of our windows. Communication was prompt, easy, friendly and professional. We had a damp survey carried out by Advanced Damp and the whole experience was great. Matt, the surveyor, was great from the start, knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain what the issue was and how it should be treated, along with a full report and follow up call. I'm unsure at this stage if we will be proceeding with the house purchase but will certainly contact them for the work if we do!

We had damp proofing work carried out recently and I’m really pleased with the service. The team were friendly, professional and explained everything clearly before starting. The work was done efficiently and the property was left clean and tidy afterwards. Communication was great throughout. I have waited the recommended drying time and the issue now seems completely resolved.

Con artists - avoid. Ruined a room, refused amend poor quality work and demanded for full pay. No proper complaints procedure. Job Certificate not issued.

Be careful - they are not insured from damage done to neighbours' property. Client will have to pick up bill.

Regret ever hiring them.

Very good service and found a leak in our roof and made it easier to relay that information to the roof guy.

Completed a damp proof course for me two years ago and all was well until some plaster started to come off my wall. Had to pay for them to come out to inspect the problem, where the surveyor agreed the problem was due to poor workmanship and would be covered under warranty.
Nearly three months later I am still waiting to hear from them as to when they are going to come out to fix the problem.

Really great service. Needed a third party opinion about some work undertaken by someone else. Attended on time, very courteous, understood the complexity of the case and wrote down what they were able to commit to and then agreed to a verbal debrief as well. Could not have been more constructive.

The damp proofing work was done relatively well inside the house , though a follow up visit was required on one of the walls following an inspection.

The French drainage work at the back of the house was more of an issue. There were many discussions between the contractor and other company staff as to how to handle the drain, which frankly didn’t seem that complicated. And the kitchen drain was left blocked at the end of the work, requiring a return visit to resolve.

The work hours of the contractor seemed a bit off, as he finished early afternoon each day. We appreciate some of this was to allow plaster to dry, but the drainage work could have been done during that time. So the job was strung out for a whole week.

Finally, after a delay in receiving the final invoice and paying, we received further notifications saying we hadn’t paid due to an issue with the invoice system, which was irritating and stressful.

Overall, a somewhat mediocre experience compared to work from other tradespeople at our house this year.

From the initial contact, through to the survey, estimate and doing the work, re plastering and taking away the rubbish they were very professional and extremely thorough. I would recommend Advanced Damp Ltd
