The whole experience is a farce… a 15 min call every hire to answer the same questions.
Poorly structured payslips.
Admin free on every pay and in construction most pay is weekly, over £100 per month for nothing.
If you have any queries don’t bother raising it with them as whoever’s on the phone will request a call back from another department and nobody will call back.

Duplication
manual processes duplicate the clients systems which mean twice as much work for the contractor to get paid correctly. I wish I'd chosen a different company

Painful to deal with
If i had a choice i would change to a competent organisation. Expenses just go missing, and take several phones calls to resolve. Payments are late or just dont happen on time and its put upon you to resolve.

Umbrella company transistion
I’m in the process of changing umbrella company to Advance and they are ‘on it!!’

Not been paid
Not been paid. Far too many emails from Advance. Too much to read/miss. Must do better, especially at setting up process. Other payroll companies are better and make it easier than this.

We appreciate that we experienced slight delays to document verification yesterday, however our Compliance team have confirmed that this issue is now fully resolved, and after checking with our Payroll team and your account, I can confirm that payment has been processed.
Subject to receiving a timesheet from your agency, although we process the vast majority of our payments overnight on a Thursday, we always process payments by no later than close of business on Friday, so that if any issues arise, we have the chance to resolve them in a timely manner and adhere to our promise of ensuring payments are made before this deadline.
We apologise if you believe our correspondence to be too much to read - the majority of this correspondence is sent to ensure we adhere to both HMRC and FCSA guidelines.

Well I have used them for years
Well I have used them for years, and I know that they can be a bit expensive! They are genuinely really quick to get your money back from HMRC and they were this time! I got a fixed price last time! I asked them if they would do the same and if so to call me and I would use them again! They never mentioned it on the phone. Spoke to them after a week and a half to find out if they had any information about my return and was told that they hadn’t heard anything back! Then I got an email from them within a few hours about what I was getting! This was in my account at the end of the day, I checked on HMRC app and found out that they had taken there usual 30% so I was £600 less what I should have had back.

Quick and easy to register
Prior to registering, i requested an illustration for my day rate which came through quickly, showed a clear outline off all the workings and was easy to understand.
I registered over the phone, it was also very quick and easy.
Would recommend.
