Took more than 7 working days they predicted

Made order on 22nd of jan before 12pm and paid 3.99 postage. Delivery time stated 5-7 working days. I only recieved a email that the Item was shipped on 29th of jan.
I the received the item on the 2nd of feb. Which from what i believe to be 8 working days not including the day it was sent and not including the saturday i recieved it.
Further more, i bought a campag cassette and the main reason of buying it new is so that the spacing does not change as this can be a drama to fix, lucky enough it was 8 speed, in a nut shell the package looked poorly packed and throw around by the delivery company.

A-Ok.

After making my purchase I discovered some discouraging reviews about Acycles, however, an initial delay within the banking system to clear funds before my order was processed, and a further delay at Roissy en France before my order was sent has not discouraged me.
Both of these issues were not the fault of Acycles and my order arrived only a few days later than expected.
Overall, I am very satisfied with Acycles , I received exactly what I had paid for and my correspondence with Acycles was answered promptly.
I do recommend Acycles because their prices are very competitive, Acycles actual processing of my order was accurate and efficient and their customer service response was also efficient and helpful.

Quoted delivery time 3-7 days

Quoted delivery time 3-7 days. Arrived in 12 after chasing on day 8. Product photo and description indicated that the cassette came with a locking ring but this was missing from the box. Raised this issue with Acycles who showed no inclination to rectify.

The ticketing system within the My Account area works well, even if responses aren't particularly helpful.

If you can get the part at the same price from a company that's keen to deliver a good service then suggest you do.

'in stock' not in stock refund elusive

Ordered a helmet that showed as being 'in stock'. Waited 10 days still no helmet. Contacted acycles to check delivery to be told item was not 'in stock' and had not been sent. Requested refund which was agreed. Several weeks later still no refund and having to raise a claim with Paypal. Next time I'll stick with wiggle or chainreaction or tredz.

Buying experience ok but returns process awful

Buying experience ok, received two pairs of shoes in a timely manner, sent one pair back for refund, as with others this is where it goes wrong. Took 3 weeks and several emails before refund processed. If Acycles wants to lure customers away from Wiggle/CRC, Merlin, etc.. then they need to match their service. Will not be using again despite competitive prices.

Me Too! THREE WEEKS and no refund

THREE WEEKS and no refund! Same as other poster below! Product received back from them on 7/1. They confirmed this and said they will refund my money.

Nothing but excuses - "I'll talk to our accounts dept. to find out why you haven't received this". I've now emailed them SEVEN times over the last few weeks.

I opened a PayPal claim over a week ago and they haven't even bothered responding to it. I'll point Paypal to this page now too and advise them to kill this company's account. I've also advised them of EU Small Claims court action too - they don't care.

WORST company I've ever dealt with. I see they respond to posters on here too - why? These are not 'isolated incidents' - they're holding money and keeping the interest. See the other reviews below. It is NOT worth dealing with this company no matter how competitive the prices... if you need to return anything expect serious problems.

EDIT: further to this they then reported this review to TrustPilot in an effort to get it removed! TrustPilot please don't prevent others being warned - that's why you're here.

Absolute cons

Absolute cons - Promised delivery and did not arrive.
They then promised refund and they still haven't done this.

Have escalated dispute to Paypal.

Acycles have the cheek to now email me and ask me to close paypal escalation so they can refund.

Absolute joke of a company - Do not trust them in the slightest

Still nothing

Still nothing. Told me yet again to send bank details. Sent bank details for transfer. Told they would transfer money and nothing. It’s happened 3 times now. I’m currently in contact and waiting response from the online dispute resolution European Commission.

I wouldn’t recommend this company

I wouldn’t recommend this company as I placed an order before Christmas for which my credit card was debited but I am yet to receive my goods. The customer services emails are very polite in advising me that they are waiting for further stocks but that does not explain why they took my money if they did not have the goods to sell. Very poor.

!!!AVOID!!! Slow postage from france and missing parts, !!!AVOID!!!!!

Appears as UK based shop, when in fact the products are shipped from france, which extends shipping to weeks. I bought pair of 180mm formula disc rotors as acycles were one of the few to have them in stock at a reasonable price. Shortly after purchase I emailed to see if the discs came with disc bolts, they replied with no they dont, which was fine as it didnt state either way on the website. The irritation came when the parcel arrived. In the box where two plastic bags, one was unopened containing new disc and oddly an unopned bag of formula disc bolts(x6), the other bag however was already opened and the new disc was there but it was missing the formula disc bolts. After emailing on 3 seperate occasions asking to send the missing bolts over the period of a week, I have recieved no response at all, other than a blanket email asking for feedback here! They were either unsure so they said no bolts included, or they knew that one bag was missing. Either way they are in the wrong, and I know disc bolts are only a couple of quid, but they have gone far out of their way to lie/ignore this customer. Will never purchase anything again from them, and I am Pursing either a partial refund or for them to send another set of bolts.

Give my son his money back please

My 15 year old son spent Birthday money on some new grips in November 2018. After weeks of waiting and nothing turning up in the post, he emailed ACycles to ask where they were. At this point they told him that they no longer had the grips in stock so would refund my son. Two months later he has still not received his money back. Really frustrating and disappointing. ACycles, please send my son his money back immediately.
