Beautiful table
Beautiful table, just what we wanted. Being able to choose custom size, colour, finish and leg style is great. I had quite a few questions before ordering and these were answered very quickly and comprehensively via the online chat. Sample pieces arrived very quickly and the table was delivered quicker than the estimated timescale. Wouldn't hesitate to order from them again and recommend them.

Not had my table delivered yet and hopefully before Christmas but just had to leave a review to mention Craig from Customer Services who I have spoken with several times. Initially about deciding wood types and since about changing an order. He is a credit to the Company. A breath of fresh air to speak with someone with a good command of the English language and also so professional and polite.

Amazing, professional company …
I simply can not rate this company highly enough . From the ease of ordering to updates on delivery which incidentally was earlier than anticipated , I can’t fault them. The quality of the furniture is beautiful, I will definitely use them again. My own mistake regarding the colour of stain I ordered was dealt with in the most helpful and patient manner by Craig. He has gone way over and above with the level of customer service he offered and help to rectify my problem. Thank you so much, if I could leave a 10 star review I definitely would!

Excellent value for a custom size table top
Managed to buy a custom size table top, live edge, 10 seater for an incredible price. Bought spider legs separately from elsewhere. Was kept informed and delivery was on time. Highly recommend and the fact that I saved around £1600 in total!

Small order of scaffold board shelves….
Ordered x3 ‘reclaimed scaffold board shelves in varying lengths with end straps, brackets and fixings. Products themselves well made but order arrived without end straps so was offered options of sending the lot back for correct order or fit end straps myself (at my own risk with some sort of refund) which were to be sent out by separate overnight postage. Video guidance on how to fit to come later via text from MD only for some reason?
Already waited nearly a month for x3 shelves so decided to fit end straps myself whilst being careful not to make any fatal errors. So that was a decent part of Saturday gone as the whole lot should’ve been delivered the day before.
Eventually got around to planning and marking out for fitting shelves today only to find that another part of the order was wrong with x3 sets of lipped down brackets instead of x2 down and x1 up as asked for and as clearly listed on the order confirmation. I was assured that this would be sorted and that I’d be contacted by end of today with a resolution…..nothing. No apology, action or offer of any form of compensation has been offered.
Finally, having twice tried to chase matters on. Friday it seems that no-one answers the phone after 3.30 pm even though answer phone message states 5.30 pm closing?
The impression is then that if you’re ’small potatoes’ any form of care and order checking is an afterthought.
The quality of the goods received however was largely good and since the initial review, Karen at Acumen has at least offered a small refund for the inconvenience and delays and has gone the extra mile to try to make sure occasion better experience next time!

When the order arrived without the end bands fitted, we offered to collect the shelves, add the end bands in our workshop, and return everything fully completed. As you preferred not to wait for a collection and redelivery, we arranged for the bands and fixings to be sent out immediately and provided fitting guidance so you could install them yourself without delay.
When you later let us know about the bracket packing error, we acted on this straight away and ensured you had the correct fittings as quickly as possible.
We always aim to resolve any issues promptly and fairly, and I’m glad we were able to work together to bring this to a positive conclusion. Your feedback is genuinely appreciated and helps us continue improving our service.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service,
Owner left a call for an urgent reason - fair enough but then I personally spent weeks chasing customer services to give order specifications after a glitch on their website lost my choices.
Item was delayed, I requested it by a certain date - chased and was told they thought was to be sent after that date.
The hard wax / colour finish is patchy on essentially is just a slab of pine.
Expensive item for what I’ve received… and it was in a sale - I feel sorry for people who have paid even more than this.
Not satisfied at all.

Wrong parts were sent
Wrong parts were sent, we couldn’t set the book shelf up, it took them weeks to eventually send the right parts and help us with installation.

Whinlatter table - reclaimed elm
Being very wary that I'd fallen in love with a table advertised frequently on Instagram, I called their customer services to ask a few questions and try and get a feel for the company. Karen was very approachable and knowledgeable on the products and we ordered the table. On its arrival , sadly there was an issue with a pink patch/stain in the centre of the table. Very worried and starting to regret buying a table on line, I called customer services . Both Karen and the owner himself made contact to address the issue that same day - Polite, understanding and keen for me to be happy with their product which left me confident they would put it right. Options were discussed with me and collection was arranged. On their inspection and efforts to correct , a new / replacement table was sent out . It's stunning, we love it. Their delivery company they used was also very efficient in updating us to exact time of delivery / collection. I would buy from this company again . There is a lot to be said for a company who's customer service team answer the phone immediately and care about their customers and products , rare these days !

We’ve checked our records and can’t see any contact from you regarding an issue with your order when it was delivered back in July. Our Old Barn Vintage Stools are made from reclaimed timber, and as shown in the product photos, they naturally include historic patches, repairs and variations that reflect their age and character.
We understand this rustic appearance isn’t for everyone, but it is part of the design and is highlighted clearly on the product page.

10/10 Furniture & Service! 🌟
I ordered the Glenridding Industrial Dining Table and matching bench from Acumen Collection and I’m honestly over the moon with them. The craftsmanship and quality are amazing — so much better than the popular furniture shops that sell similar styles. They look even more stunning in person than I expected.
I had a small question about my order and the personal response I got was outstanding. It really felt like they cared and wanted to make sure I was happy.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. Beautiful furniture and brilliant service — couldn’t recommend them enough!
