this is too good to be true my simple advice is to spend time in a dry climate.the product has not worked for myself after 3 months.
Not a reliable source of Activ8
This Company is not the legitimate one that sells Activ8. The Domain has expired and it looks like it is no longer trading. If you purchased Activ8 from physical nutrition.com then that is the company that you need to find and leave your review.
Activ8 works
Very easy to order, very easy to talk to someone on the telephone but a bit pricey.
I ordered 3-month supplies of Muscle Protect and Activ8 and expected to be writing a review in 3-months time however after only one week my wife says her joints have improved in that she can manage the stairs without wincing. Of course this could be a complete coincidence that after years of trouble she suddenly feels better, but a bit unlikley isn't it?
There are no miracle cures and we don't expect one, all we want is to minimise the discomfort and Activ8 appears to be doing just that.
Not a trust worthy service.
Bus say they come on Sunday need to get bus to my dad as it was energy. THE BUSES NEVER COME ON THE SUNDAY. TWO BUSES DIDN'T COME AND I WAS STANDING AROUND FOREVER.
Beware the snake oil salesman who claims to “cure” arthritis
I looked at the video about Activ8 which had a very “smooth” GP trying to sell a product which could repair torn cartilage and help with pain. Lots of pretty pictures of salamanders which can regrow limbs.
I am not a medical Dr but have worked in a medical laboratory for years and I couldn’t believe his pills could emulate these salamanders. I wrecked the cartilages in one knee many years ago and had a knee replacement 12 years ago. Some of the world class Orthopaedic surgeons we are lucky to have in the uk assured me there was nothing more they could do for my knee. Had I suggested growing the cartilage back was possible I would have probably ended up in a Psychiatric Ward.
I looked up Dr Paul O’Connell on the General Medical Council website. Anyone can do this if you want to check up on your GP. There was no one of that name listed.
Perhaps I should have looked at the “Snake Oil Salesmen” website, in my opinion that is what he is. For those of you suffering with arthritic pain there is a lot your GP should be able to do for you.
Having taken Active 8 for a while now
Having taken Active 8 for a while now, my two thumbs are now working normally again whereas before, the left one would not move without help and the right one clicked every time it moved. The backs of my thigh muscles are less stiff than they were. My original glucosamine tablets did nothing to help my problems.

I take active 8 following a work accident, acl snapped torn cartridge both knees, struggled to walk after taking these pills for a while got me back on my feet,I'm waiting for knee surgery if it wasn't for active8 I don't know what I would have done
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Tried Active8 for nearly 6 months with no improvement in arthritis whatsoever. Unable to contact them and unable to work out how to apply for, or discuss, a refund.
Over £100 wasted.
Don’t be taken in by the long video like I was.

Every 5 star review on here is about some app on Amazon and not the pills to improve joint pain - which they clearly do not and I won’t be purchasing given the vast number of 1- star reviews. Thank you for sharing.
Further info from ASA on this ‘Doctor’ and his ‘product’ adds to the reason not to buy.

ASA Ruling on Nutritional Sciences Ltd t/a Physical Nutrition
Upheld 19 June 2024
Issue
The ASA received two complaints.
One complainant challenged whether:
1. the claims that Activ8 Joint Complete could treat or cure human disease were in breach of the Code; and
2. the specific health claims in the ads, which required authorisation on the Great Britain Register of nutrition and health claims, breached the Code.
3. A second complainant challenged whether the claim that Dr Paul O’Connell was “… the NHS’s leading joint expert …” was misleading and could be substantiated.
Response
1., 2. & 3. Nutritional Sciences Ltd did not respond to the ASA’s enquiries during the investigation.

The five Star on here not related to company
The five Star reviews on here (1) One of them has nothing to do with medication right at the end of the reviews because its about a HOME INSTALLATION by a company with a likewise NAME. (2) One of the five stars is in fact congratulating TRUSTPILOT on the one stars..... (3) The third regards treatment working comes from the company itself. Therefore the 13% ....5 Star are at best 60% incorrect 5 stars
A scam company
All the one star comments are very informative and should make prospective customers very wary. I consider this company is apparently only interested in taking your money, via a smooth talking "doctor".
And if you look right at the bottom of the website's page you will see the following statement :
"These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease."
Enough said - don't waste your money!

ASA looks at implied health claims for food supplement and doctor testimonials

The ASA has ruled that a number of ads for Nutritional Sciences Ltd’s supplements breached the CAP Code as they contained misleading and unsubstantiated health claims Nutritional Sciences Ltd - ASA | CAP. The ruling examined the situation where there was a click through link to products rather than an immediate association and the use of an alleged testimonial from a doctor, ‘Dr. Paul O’Connell’.
The ads were for the ‘Activ8 Joint Complete’ product, a supplement that Nutritional Sciences Ltd claimed on its website:
‘Relieves soreness, stiffness and discomfort’
‘Prevents inflammation, damaged cartilage, and bone decay’
‘Facilitates joint repair & recover’
‘Improves movement and flexibility’
These claims were often accompanied by testimonials from Dr. Paul O’Connell.
The ASA received two complaints with the following challenges:
The claims that Activ8 Joint Complete could treat or cure human disease breached the Code.
The specific health claims in the ads, which must be authorised on the Great Britain Register of nutrition and health claims, breached the Code.
The claim that Dr. Paul O’Connell was the ‘NHS’s leading joint expert’ was misleading and should be substantiated.
The ASA upheld the first and second issues, stating that it was likely the wording would be understood by consumers as treatment for arthritis or other degenerative joint conditions, or a preventative treatment for the effects of ageing on the joints. Consequently, the claims were prohibited under the CAP Code. Crucially, it did not matter that the ads did not attribute the claims to a specific product, rather it was enough for the ASA to determine that the ad was for that supplement as the ads linked through to the website where the supplement was sold.
The ASA upheld the third issue as Nutritional Sciences Ltd did not provide any evidence to substantiate this claim, or that Dr. Paul O’Connell was registered as a medical doctor on the General Medical Council’s Register. The ASA also noted that had evidence been provided, the issue would still be upheld as the CAP Code states that health claims referring to the recommendation of an individual health professional are not acceptable in marketing communications for food supplements.
The ASA ruled that the ads must not appear again in the forms complained of, and told Nutritional Sciences Ltd that it cannot make claims that its products could treat human disease or refer to the recommendation of an individual health professional in its marketing for such products. The matter was referred to CAP’s Compliance team.
This ruling demonstrates the importance of compliance with ASA investigations and adherence to the CAP Code in the context of health claims.
Read the bottom of the page, it admits it doesn't work
I have just watched the advert for Active 8 and scrolled to the bottom of the page, and it clearly says the product is not in any way intended to diagnose treat cure and prevent any disease . So even they no it's a scam. Remember to go to the bottom of the page.
DO NOT USE this company
DO NOT USE this company, the active 8 product didn't work and they say they offer a full refund. There are conditions attached, which they don't state along with the guarantee, or tell you when you buy their products. Very misleading and dishonest, as you only find out the conditions when you want to return them. I wonder if the suppliments are actually what they say they are. I have been taking glucosamine suppliments for a couple of years, but these sounded even better with additional ingredients. Within a few weeks of taking them my arthritus pain was back, stopped taking them and went back to my original suppliments and the pain reduced again. Currently checking to see where I stand legally, it may not help me but will help people in the future from loosing their money.........So I have been back on my original joint relief capsules now for a few months now and the pain has pretty much gone. Further proof that these products are useless. Please don't waste your money. use Terranova Glucosamine, my dog is also on them.
