Site pretending to be an official…
Site pretending to be an official government site to register a business name and ABN. Charges you A LOT for something that is FREE! Tried to charge me $189 for something which, when I found the proper government site, cost me only $37. AVOID!

Dear Jeremy,
We’re sorry to hear about your frustration and for any confusion caused.
To clarify, abn-register.com.au is a private registration service and not a government website nor affiliated with ASIC or the ATO. We do state this on our website. Our service fee covers the preparation, submission, and support involved in completing ABN and business name applications on behalf of our customers.
We understand that these registrations can also be completed directly through government websites at lower or no cost, and some customers prefer that option. If you believe our service wasn’t right for you, we encourage you to contact our support team so we can review your case and assist where possible.

We appreciate the feedback and are continually working to improve clarity and transparency for all users.
