No Aftercare or Customer Service
A1 Roofing Oxford supplied & fitted all new uPVC roof trims and guttering to my home at the end of April/beginning May 2025.
Initially, I was happy with the work; their quote was reasonable, and during the 2 days of the installation, the workmen were on time and efficient.
However, since the work was completed, their after care/customer service has been dreadful, in fact, it's been non-existent.
Since being installed, there'd been very little rain, however we've recently had several rainy days and it's now become apparent that the guttering has not be installed correctly.
1) At the front of the property, on a section of guttering above a bay window, rainwater is channelling underneath and dripping from the underside of the gutter.
2) One of the airvents in the roofline soffits has fallen out, leaving a circular hole approx. 3 or 4 inches.
3) The main problem though is at the back of the property, where one section of guttering has come apart completely, and so when it rains, it's like a tap has been turned on, and rainwater pours onto the roof of the conservatory below it.
I've sent numerous emails & text messages, with photos & videos showing the problems, but aside from 1 reply from A1 Roofing Oxford on 17 July, which said "I'll chase this up straight away", all other attempts to contact them have been ignored.
Finally spoke with someone on Friday 25 July, and he said he would come round at around 10am the following day (Saturday 26 July). I waited in all day, but nobody turned up. There was no phone call. No message. No explanation. No apology.
I'm left with no option other than to find another, more reliable tradesperson to fix the poor workmanship caused by A1 Roofing Oxford.
