My van broke down during the pandemic and the company I work for had adjusted their own costs to balance lack of sales. My better half told me that we needed to give 101Financial a shot IF I wanted a new van. Agreeing to the concept, we got things started. Our instructor was very patient with us while things got set up. 2-3 months into the system and my wife told me that our van was paid off. Those words did not register right away. When it did, I had an epiphany(like the veil got moved away and WOW): We not only paid off our new van but also paid off the tuition in full. The other factor was that we really did not feel it. This opened new opportunities for us as we applied it to our mortgages (2 properties) and yes, with a HELOC we were able to do many financial moves that were unorthodox to me but turned out brilliant.
The system is quite simple to grasp and utilize. With many concepts out there, a few missing pieces always drops off when people claim this does not work. Some say it’s a scam, but I find it funny—how can education be a scam? The system works with the right mix of education, technology, and coaching. If you invest your time and energy into learning and implementing, success is guaranteed. Those who claim it’s a scam simply didn’t commit to it.

This program is worth every penny! The most wonderful group of people who genuinely want to help others reach financial success/freedom. They will work with you at your pace, and they lead by example. After learning this system, I can no longer do conventional banking. I am so glad I took the plunge and signed up. I now feel in charge of my finances. This program is legit!

Scammers stay away the charged me 2000 for a test drive when vehicle broke down they agreed to refund me yet still no refund

This is basically a multi-level marketing scheme. We paid 101 Financial $4k to basically give us a spreadsheet to keep track of our income and expense (nothing groundbreaking) and to tell us about a personal line of credit and a home equity line of credit (HELCO). They talked us into putting our ENTIRE mortgage into a HELOC and it wasn't until we went through the lengthy process of paperwork and appraisal, that we sat down at the bank officer's desk and he told us it was only locked in at 3% for 3 years then we had to find another HELOC because the interest rate would skyrocket! We were locked into a mortgage with Wells Fargo in 2020 at 3% for 30 years and now we are facing refinancing our HELOC next year when the interest rates are nowhere near 3%! Major mistake. We should have stuck with our conventional mortgage with Wells Fargo. Our rep at 101 Financial said we would pay off our house much faster if we put it all in a HELOC because more of our payments go towards the principal (not entirely true). Well that might have worked for her, but not for us. The 101 Financial system is very complex and entangling. They preach a one-size-fits-all program for managing your money which is just not reality. We deeply regret making this decision and have not made any headway on our original loan balance bc 101 also said to use credit cards for daily expenses, then pay it off monthly using our income and checking account that is tied into the HELOC, using the HELOC as overdraft protection. It is basically a complete mess to manage. When I told our 101 rep that this is not working for us, she said "Yeah you might have to go back to the old way of banking. It doesn't work for everyone." We paid her $4k for this?!? She offered no guidance or support and just blew us off. I feel very taken advantage of and am now seeking help from a REAL trained money coach with an MBA in finance to get us untangled from this 101 mess. 101 'coaches' are not trained in finances, they are only trained in the 101 system and get paid for everyone who they recruit to get trained under them = pyramid scheme.

Whatever you do - don't put your entire mortgage in a HELOC! You can learn about personal lines of credit and HELOCs for FREE on your own and use any basic app or spreadsheet to see what is your income and expense. Don't get taken for a ride by this 101 scam!

When I started with 101 financial - I never considered myself “in debt” but had a mortgage, loans, credit cards and just making it every month. Wonderful experience! Before I was introduced to 101 Financial, I was pretty good with managing my money (or so I thought!), so I didn't think I needed their help.
