Cannot delete account
Cannot delete account. Logged onto ZDNET but there is no way, shape, or form to access account deletion. It is virtually impossible. I am very ticked about that!

Incredibly slow. Many links do nothing. No obvious way to remove account. Comments fail to load ("can't load Disqus"). They appear to be taking their own frequently bad advice about coding, as the site is about 50% non functional now. Used to be a beacon of quality, it's now just garbage. I've been a member for many years, and this is the end of any value they had.
Worlds best website 😁should definitely be used all the time good answers 👍👍👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍
ZDnet used to be very good however it went from good to bad. Artikels have shouting titels but the content is very bad. Lately if i click on a link, the whole page is gone and i have to restart everything. Be aware that ZDnet can damage your computer !!
Unreliable, factually inaccurate and in many instances biased content. It seems ZDNet is a camouflaged gun for hire - subtly pushing a particular agenda or angle - 'sponsored' by partners in the tech industry.
Most of their content seems to be syndicated or based on tech articles from other media, edited by AI or part time writers to add their particular twist, angle or slant. Bottom line it's hard to trust anything ZDNet publishes these days. I used to respect ZDNet.
I cannot believe the low scores that have been recorded for this excellent technology advisory company. Their content is accurate honest and free. They have no allegence to any supplier. They ( in particular Ed Bott ) patiently guided me through my problem of updating old laptop from Windows 10 to 11. It was not straightforward but support was supplied until the satisfactory outcome. Thanks Ed
Found a lot of missinformation in their articles by so called "professional" journalists. It's incredible what they get away with.
This website is so horrible, always clickbaiting, the tutorial about how to buy ChatGPT Plus is useless and misleading
Researching the company Temu which shows up everywhere and has been around like an Amazon wannabe however when you try to place an order with all these phenomenal free giveaway discounts you can't even place an order so I tried to see if it was legit and when I did with ZDNET it never completely explained the how in the Y of the craziest website I've ever seen or the scam but start giving me links back to the company to shop???
I recently read an article about prism drive that lead me to purshase it and find out it is a scam. Definitely do not recommend trusting this website
Very few quality technology articles anymore. More click bait stuff like their sister site CNET. Can’t remember last time I read a really good unbiased review or article. Just Apple lovers, Linux lovers, or crappy technology advice.
The quality of their articles has seriously declined and they are now blocking people for no reasons.
I have been blocked 2x, 1st time they replied saying they found no reason for blocking me. And today I am blocked again, for no reason.
Disappointing!
It was an interesting website years ago. Now it is very disappointing. Millennials ruined a great online publication.
I purchased a membership to Sam's Club through them and an option popped up for $100 with of store credit for $80 along with the membership, I jumped on it like a dummy!! Come to find out I had no $100 credit at Sam Club at all, it for for ZDNet's store and all they have for sale is a bunch of overpriced cheap Chinese junk!!! Luckily I paid by PayPal so I can file a dispute with them! The least the outfit could do is offer a customer service number but they dont have enough respect for their customers to do that, they just leave you days at a time hanging out in the cold waiting for a return email!!
This site is a total scam. They are only collecting your data. Total phishing. Avoid it. Delete it. Tell your friends. They get your data and then abruptly cancel your transaction.
These are the very worst, slimiest scammers out there. Don’t fall gor their lies.
I was told that I would receive $45 egift rewards after purchasing a one year membership of Sam's club from ZDNet online. However, I have never received the $45 egift rewards after I made the payment. There is no phone number for customer service.
I have been a ZDnet reader for some years, and generally find its publications interesting, and sometimes useful.
However a recent iteration of their hardware bulletin contained an advertisement for ...
... wait for it ...
A HOROSCOPE AND CLAIRVOYANT SITE!
Yep. A bulletin aimed at computer professionals and serious enthusiasts is promoting ant-scientific nonsense! I first thought it might be a satire site, so I clicked through. Nope. The ad was real.
I wrote to ZDNet expressing my shock and concern, and received in reply a dismissive non-specific template answer of the "thanks for your feedback" variety. No mention whatsoever of the issue I was addressing.
I've cancelled my subscriptions to all of ZDNet's newsletters.
Extremely poor journalism usually plagiarised from other peoples work with a thinly disguised bias towards all things Apple.
They lack any real credibility publishing rehashed stories with click-bait titles.
If you're looking to keep up with today's technology, don't look here. Absolutely every review ZDNet publish is grovellingly compared to Apple products.
