tool-net have now ceased trading. the website anyway.

I've just been looking through some old emails and came across a dealing that I'd had with this company 2 years ago, which I eventually gave up on, which really surprised me!
Anyway if this company is still trading, let me tell you that under no circumstances must you buy from these people. I purchased a small bench sander which I wasn't 100 % happy with when it arrived. They replied to my email straight away and offered me a new one when I'd returned it.
Anyway they let me know they'd received it back, thanked me, and that was the last I ever heard from them.
The problem with my sander was nothing major, so I obviously wish I'd just kept it.
All I can say is what a horrible bunch of crooks that ruined what should of been a great little birthday present.

I ordered a hammer tacker and some 8mm staples from Clarke tools got the staples but not the hammer tacker I thought I must have got it wrong so today I paid my bill without looking £26 .something a lot of money I thought for just some staples so I looked to see what I had paid for and it was for a hammer tacker I have not got slit looks like I have well and truly ripped of again not good work practice

I did at least receive my product but 6 weeks after buying several products which were claimed to be in stock. the worst service I have ever had

Order placed 8th January. A week later told item was out of stock so I cancelled the order and requested a refund. Over 2 months has passed and still no refund. Avoid and buy elsewhere. It's criminal how they get away with it!

Been waiting since September for refund for item no longer in stock once ordered. Avoid

Absolute shambles of a company goods ordered, never arrived no refund, after doing my research it appears they went bust in 2009 only to form a new LTD company called Internet Logistical Solutions who bought the Tool Net brand from themselves? Now 8 years later at it again.

Lost out here but I noticed they accepted Bitcoin...alarm bells went off!! Prices were too good to be true but my purchase was less than €15. Lesson learnt!

Tool-net and ITS tools London company’s are not worth one star Just a little bit of advice if you’ve pay them by visa contact your bank if through amazon pay contact them you may get your refund .good luck don’t you think it’s funny there’s no names by the excellent review probably written by Edie blighton don’t you think it’s strange they both share the same experiences Check them out with companies house.should have to go through these chanells to get your refund shameful

Tool Net the only site with the item showing in stock and at a good price. Order placed on 8 Jan for a garden multi power tool. 9 Jan email from Tool Net says not actually in stock and 12 week delay expected. I declined offer to select an alternative and requested refund. This was ack'd by email on 10 Jan and I was told refund would take 24 - 48 hrs. No refund, no goods and now apparently no company. Off to Amazon Pay and my credit card co to secure my money back!

Ordered a Milwaukee angle drill in January 13th €526 money gone and no drill can’t contact by phone or email Not happy

Unacceptable. I was told that my product was out of stock but they still took the payment of 580. I never received the product or a refund. That was back in start of January. They are a ducking joke. But I'll keep chasing my money. Stay far away from this company.

Appear to have gone out business but they dont actually say that. It says their fulfilment partner is not currently taking orders. This implies toolnet still trading but they have a supplier problem. Why not just say the truth?

Ordered goods on 15th and 18th. Chased them on 19th and they Sent me an email saying that the goods were delayed slightly!

Following Friday phone lines down and website says:

Contact your card issuer!?!?!?

Looks like they’ve gone bump but I can’t do anything until 30 days has passed or there is official word on their website confirming they are no longer trading!!!!

If you’re no longer trading “tool net”, at least have the balls to come out and say so otherwise people like me who are clearly not going to receive anything from you have to wait unnecessarily to get their money back from the card issuer!!!

Ordered Stihl leaf blower as it was the best price I could find. Weeks later haven't received goods or even conformation of order. Took my money and now the website has disappeared !

Always had a good experience with tool-net.
Great prices, good quality products, fast delivery and good customer service.

I received my last order 5 days ago...
Just wanted to order something else and it seems the website is gone :(
I am lucky I got the last order. Let's hope they will solve their problems. I would order again.

They happily took my money on Wednesday for two 'hop-ups' we paid extra for delivery on Thursday.....Now complete silence.
It would seem this company has gone pop.
Time to claim against the credit card me thinks...

Bought and paid clarke 4hp motor one week ago website down, phone number not in use and no reply to emails, rang Clarke directly and they informed me they never even ordered the motor. So basically have been robbed and unsure what to do now . my workshop has been down 2 weeks

1 & 5 Star reviews...

I can tell you why the reviews are 1 STAR or 5 STAR.

It's because this company sends you an email after your purchase looking for a review and once done they issue you with a discount on your next purchase. So I got this email promise done the "5 Star" review and a few days after looked to use the discount promised and was told it had expired!
I'm still waiting for a refund due to me from this company after being messed about for a few weeks...

Ordered a log splitter mid January - paid, plus extra for Scotland - now no log splitter, phone is out of service, web site closed down for changes. The reviews fall into two categories - horrendous or brilliant: are the brilliant ones genuine?
