Fantastic experience at TGIs at Handy Cross. Great atmosphere, food was excellent and we were looked after superbly by Aliehs. Highly recommend visiting any day! Try the Whiskey Ribs and the Pornstar Martinis

Extremely disappointing experience at TGI Fridays Watford. I arrived at 4pm and waited 25 minutes without anyone taking my order, despite staff repeatedly walking past my table.

When I finally approached the manager, instead of apologising or trying to resolve the situation, I was told she “didn’t see me” — despite attending to the table directly next to mine several times.

I eventually walked out without eating, and nobody seemed concerned. I don't blame the young staff; this is clearly a management and training issue. Very poor customer service from a well-known brand.

Asked for ribs and told they were sold out - 6pm on a Saturday! Changed it a a plain burger, came with cheese! They offered to take it back but having waited to be seated, further wait to take the order then half an hour for it to arrive, no thanks.

Went silverburn last night the 4th and was a shambles seem to be under staffed as had to wait just over 30mins for a table when there was a lot of free tables that never got used and the food took over an hour to come out and the food wasn't good at all the burger i ordered the meat was half a burger and cremated and the pasta had no flavour what so ever very disappointed as we usually go hear quite alot

Silverburn,Glasgow- waited 10 minutes to be seated. Tables were sticky, seats were very stained and dirty, bench seating very sticky, food cold and plates cold, not worth the money

Emily N tal waitress was fab at her job so welcoming and friendly drinks on tap with bottomless and was a pleasure to be served by her top marks for Emily!!! Fabulous waitress give this girl the recognition she deserves Liverpool one what a girl

I hate having to write this but come on guys get your act sorted out. The food is great - the service is the Pitts. I visit the Bolton restaurant as I did last Sunday. The place was a quarter full hardly any staff and even with so many empty tables I was told to come back on half an hour. If staffing is your problem then change your ordering process. I left and walked over the car park to Nandos, despite being full I was able to get a table straight away, they had lots of staff that tells me that Fridays are not good employers. Get sorted or go Bust!

We went to mk theatre district TGI.
I’m leaving a mixed review really, we waited to be seated even though we had a booking, the staff seemed to be no where around. When we did get seated we had a 30min wait before our drinks order was taken, we ordered our main food then too. There seemed to be only two waitresses although the restaurant didn’t seem that busy.
We then waited another 30 mins for our food, unfortunately the steaks were not cooked medium rare, maybe medium well done. The waitresses were not around to address this issue and didn’t come to ask if everything was ok like they would normally do.
We did eat the steaks as we were so hungry so they couldn’t have been that bad, just would have preferred a little less cooking in our opinion.
So we were a little disappointed but the waitress who we did see, was amazing and very friendly. To be fair it’s not her problem that there wasn’t enough staff on shift.
I do feel the prices were a little steep but maybe I’m living in the 80s still.
In all it was a nice treat but wouldn’t rush back again.

Very poor experience at the Trafford Centre branch of TGI Fridays. The wait staff were lacklustre and oddly confused - the greeter looked utterly bored and another tried to take the food order before we'd even been handed menus - seemed like this basic step had been forgotten when we were shown to our table. We eventually ordered 2 kids meals and 3 adult ones - we were informed that *one* of the dishes was unavailable at the point of ordering so we picked something else.

When the meals arrived, 2 of the 5 were not what we ordered. The member of staff who brought the food explained that one of these was a mistake so they could sort that. However, now the pasta dish that we'd ordered was also unavailable so they'd just substituted it with another without checking with us first. My daughter agreed to accept it, but it turned out to be too spicy for her so they said they'd switch it out for a tomato and plain chicken "off-menu" dish. Great idea - only the replacement that came was just tomato pasta, no chicken.

The quality of the food was terrible - the chips on my husband's plate were barely warm and weirdly completely glued to the plate; the first wrong pasta order was lukewarm; the portion of beans in one of the kids meals was crusty and looked liked it had been reheated at least 3 times; the peas in the other kids meal still had loads of cooking water in the ramekin so when she tipped the portion onto her plate it flooded the rest of her food. I had to literally pour it off onto a napkin.

When the bill came I said I was not prepared to pay £20.95 for a basic tomato pasta dish (they'd simply charged it at the chicken pasta price.) In all honesty, asking for *any* payment for such poor quality food is unbelievable. The manager deducted both the pasta and another of the main meals from the bill as way of apology for the service mix-up. I appreciate the gesture, but the problems here go way beyond things being a bit busy and the kitchen staff having an "off-day."

We went to Buchanan street Glasgow on 3 may for my sons 18th there was 8 of us and 1 starter never came out till the rest of us where eating our main course they got my other sons burger wrong 4 times which in turn meant he got no main course as we just wanted to leave asap the managers attitude was disgraceful she just acted like she didn’t care then we spotted 2 waitresses looking up at our table and laughing will never return to TGI Fridays ever again been a customer for about 10 years
No wonder so many have closed down

We were served by the lovely Alicia, she was very polite friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she went above and beyond and made our visit a memorable one. We will definitely be visiting again and hope to be served by the same lovely Alicia,

Went with my 4 year old and my son who was 5 month. Was meant to be a quick lunch. Nearly £70 it cost us which I wouldn’t have minded but was 40 mins for our food when it came out one of the sides wasn’t even there that I ordered and the fries came stone cold. The “waiter” couldn’t be bothered in all honesty. I wouldn’t mind if the place was heaving it wasn’t and as I said myself and a toddler no starters nothing. I wanted to try sort it there and then but it had went over my sons routine he was getting upset he needed a feed and we needed home for a train. Which they have also tried to pass the blame onto me. I explained to them would send my thoughts in an email. I just think for the price for what we received and I’ve left starving from a place that used to be great is just no good. To not hold any accountability either. Very very poor I would avoid.

What happened to TGI friday...

Waiting time is shocking, food size is shocking and for the price and the quality of food is disgusting.
You need a bank loan and a full day 😂

I used to love going, couldnt complain. Food portions were amazing now a adults meal is the size of a kids and the price... well just shocking.

The waiting staff on the other hand are lovely.

Also stop changing the menu.. half the things I would go there for are gone. Such a shame

How is this restaurant still operating. Its always empty. Staff are sooo rude. My son, 9 at the time went to finda member of staff to tell them it was my birthday. (He told me he was going to the loo), the waitress shrugged him away. He car back so upset and it was only once we had left he told me what happened. The food was rubbish and not even hot and took ages to come out. My son picked the restaurant because he wanted it to be fun for my birthday. Had he not been with me, I would have gone back and given the waitress a mouthful. The toilets were disgusting. The wraps had the date printed on them (had obviously come off the wrapper and were out of date). Would not return.

My daughter and I used to go weekly since 2013, food and atmosphere was great. It’s been going downhill since before Covid. Bring on my last visit ever last night at Trafford centre. Jd wings were ice cold inside, sauce doesn’t taste like the original glaze. Glazed burger came, no sauce apart from the burger sauce on the bun and bacon was just normal. Goodbye, it was fun but you guys are done.

went to rushden lakes for a late lunch service was terrible. waited over 45 minutes to get food even though it was even busy. lots of staff on, but they weren’t doing much. since i’ve got home i’ve had sickness and diarrhoea. It’s so expensive you really need to give better service. When you ask for a drink it’s like your putting them out, not impressed at all.

We were refused booking at Buchanan Street, Glasgow for a boozy brunch voucher. The voucher states clearly that it can be used there as long as it is booked in advance. They said that they don't accept the voucher at all. Been TGI regulars for years NEVER AGAIN. With our family that is 16 regular customers lost.

I would definitely make others aware of how bad they have become and,i am not surprised they are shutting so many stores in the uk. I have always gone to Tgi on birthday ect but no more. i visited one of their restaurants with my daughter and granddaughters as I was worried that the restaurants that were left will get close down plus the fact it should be quiet and not busy. We had even been saying how maybe we should go to Nandos but then decided we didn’t want to miss our chance at Tgi Fridays. When we arrived the restaurant seemed empty (with only two tables and 5 people sitting down)
We were shown to our table by a young man and from there is where it all went down hill. Like others on here we too experienced a long wait for our food which turned up cold and when asked for replacement took ages to resolve. one of my granddaughter meal her burger was cold and the 3chips she had didn’t look to good my other granddaughter food was also cold so when the waiter bought over our meal we mentioned about the burger being cold ect his response was to stand and not respond so my granddaughter said can I please have a warm burger he then said i will take the burger in a napkin and walked back to kitchen my daughter and myself had our food bought to us while waiting again for the cold burger this wasn’t the usual experience we had in the past and was even more shocking due to the fact the restaurant was practically empty and one only table eating in there!. my daughter and myself was going to order the unlimited chicken strips than god we didn’t we would been there all night! but my daughter ordered a unlimited soft drink first drink came quite quickly after that she was looking to order another drink it was only when a lady signed in to start her shift that I went over and asked for a refill she said sorry you had to come over as for the male who took our order had no idea where he even was still quiet in the restaurant when we called to customer service regarding our experience we was told that having looked at cameras we arrived and we had food at and left at she completely got times ect not as it happened. we had so many things to prove her side of it wasn’t correct to what really happened. after a lot of messages she offered a round of puddings or drinks, but we felt there had been no accountability and genuinely not shocked many branches are closing down. And I wouldn’t ever return to any TGI Fridays if you paid me! DO NOT GO TO TGI AT ALL THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER NICE RESTAURANTS
