I received the following grovelling email from Singletrack Bikes’ CS Manager, Gabe Bell;

Dear Brian,

I’m reaching out personally to sincerely apologise for the recent lack of communication and delays regarding your order with us.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, our operations were disrupted, and we failed to fulfill or respond to over 300 outstanding orders — including yours. This is far from the standard we aim to uphold, and I take full responsibility for the inconvenience and frustration this may have caused.
To make things right, you now have the option to either:
Receive a Full Refund – No questions asked.
Have Your Order Fulfilled Immediately – If you still want the item(s), we will prioritise shipping them to you as quickly as possible.
Please reply to this email with your preference and include your order number, so we can process your request promptly.
Once again, I am truly sorry for the lack of communication and the delay. We’re actively working to improve our systems and ensure this never happens again. Your patience and understanding mean a lot, and we’d love the opportunity to earn back your trust.

Suffice to say that the refund promised wasn’t delivered. It’s almost like he was trying to rub salt in the wounds??!

Whatever you do, don’t buy anything from this company they’re crooks. Made an order two months ago and received nothing and no updates. Contacted them several times and still no response. Weeks and weeks went by, and then I received a grovelling email from someone called Gabe, who was full of apologies saying they’re gonna resolve the issue and repay those who have lost out. Which was absolute BS because I still haven’t received a penny of a refund or the item I purchased.

They have since closed down their website (how convenient) so be warned, if they start up again don’t buy anything from them….

Absolute scammers. Ordered a few months back and items never arrived. Did get a response at one point via WhatsApp but was a false promise. Looks like the website has closed. Luckily I used a credit card

Placed an order 1 month ago. No response to emails and phone. Looks to have closed its doors but still allowing to place orders and take money. No way to contact. Not good!

Some confusion as to whether this firm is linked to Route cycles!
Either way, both firms confirmed a purchase. It’s been nearly a month now and despite e- mails and phone calls I have received nothing and had no response. Asked for a refund but heard nothing.
Go somewhere else!!!!

Ordered. Delivery date came and went. Order status not updated. I contacted 3 times but no reply.

I have pointed this out to the providers of their shop platform push.bike suggesting they consider shutting their web presence or similar.

Others might want to do the same?

Shocking company total scam artists ordered a month ago still not arrived take your money don’t answer the phone or reply to emails avoid at all cost total scam

I purchased (or thought I had!) a front light bracket for £15 plus £6.99 standard postage. Upon placing the order, I received a message saying that they confirmed the order and would email me again to let me know when it will be shipped. 5 working days have now passed and I’ve heard nothing. They don’t reply to emails and they don’t answer the phone. I looked them up on Trustpilot and see that the company has gone into liquidation. I’d like to know how they can continue to take peoples money?! Surely this is illegal?

DO NOT BUY from them. I purchased a seat post and haven’t heard anything from them. No communication from them. No one answering emails or phone. It’s a scam. Stay away.

Companies House have reported that the company has now been dissolved.
Currently awaiting appointment of a Liquidator. But don't expect any return on your money.

Ordered a new set of pads for my helmet on 31st May. they never arrived. Haven't replied to my emails. Or answered the phone. Tried all the multiple numbers available. Had to raise a dispute through my bank in the end to get my money back.

Do not buy from this site they have CLOSED DOWN BUT ARE STEALING EVERYONES MONEY ....STILL TAKING ORDERS,, PHONE NUMBERS ARE DEAD AND EMAILS NOT ANSWERED.
I HAVE NOW REQUESTED REFUND ABOUT 20 TIMES WITH NO REPLY.

Put in an order on the 26th May, for a component with a great price (the only positive). The first time I’ve dealt with Singletrack so didn’t pay great attention to the delivery times as I thought they’d be similar to others.

Now through the 12th working day from the order date, order still on “awaiting dispatch” so Singletrack look like they’ll miss their own rather lengthy delivery timelines.

Due to the waiting and diminishing faith, I ordered a similarly specced component elsewhere on Sunday 8th June and it arrived today (Tuesday 10th June).

Whether the owner/new owner appreciates it or not, this is the position they’re leaving new customers in. The ridiculous delivery timelines will prompt new customers and possible existing customers to look elsewhere.

Singletrack bikes provided a first class service and repair on my bike. They also provided a pick-up and drop-off service for the bike, as I stayed in the local area. Very reasonable cost too. Would highly recommend. Many thanks

Shocking customer service. I ordered a product 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing. They are happy to take your money, but following that you hear nothing!

Never received order. Poor coms and customer services line always engaged despite trying 60 times in a day. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered an item after two weeks still no sign of it arriving. Tried to contact Singletraack Bikes via No. on website no answer. Have emailed no answer. Sounds like they have gone bust Avoid using this company is my recommendation.

Ordered over 2 weeks ago and not received a thing don’t recommend I was so excited to receive my order and haven’t even got a email about where my order is or nothing when I look on DHL on where my order is it says it doesn’t exist.

I suggest you do not use this company! I purchased a Hope Head Doctor on the 17th March & after raising a case with Paypal received a parcel (without any communication from Singletrack) on the 16th April which contained only a Hope Head Doctor Expander. I have emailed them & yet again have not received a response. The company are unresponsive & don't seem to care!

I’ve been waiting almost 2 months for parts I ordered from Singletrack Bikes – spent around £200 on Hope components, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Communication has been awful throughout. They sent me a false tracking number, and despite me chasing multiple times, they’ve completely ignored my last 4 emails.

This is beyond unacceptable. I’ve been more than patient, but this level of service is just disgraceful. I feel completely ripped off and treated with zero respect as a customer. I’ll never order from here again – and I’d seriously advise others to think twice before handing over any money to them.
