Am I allowed to say Crap? Well I just did, congrats ReverbNation or whoever you are now? For completely ruining a long standing music platform! What were you thinking of!! Im deleting my account , you really did not think this through .

They have a link to their “new app” which doesn’t exist.

Trying to release an album for a month now and when the glitches cause you to not be able to finish your submission, the only way out is to choose “finish later”. Doing so creates another version of the album with no reference to which version is which. I now have 19 different versions of an album that I can’t complete.
They advertise that they “return all emails within 24 hours, usually sooner” with a photo of an artist on his phone and a representative talking into her phone even though they offer NO phone support and take 3-4 days on average to reply and that also gets you nowhere.
HORRIBLE platform!!!!!!!
They should have left it the way it was.
UPDATE: it has now been more than a week since they have responded. They said that they have no way for me to reorder the songs and can’t do it themselves either. The suggestion was to start over. I’ve spent more than 60 hours on a 12 song album submission and they suggest that I start over. Time to find a new distributor. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. Shame on you reverbnation!!!!!!

I wish I could leave a zero star review. This company is the worst. The customer service is near non-existent. When they do reply, you'll get a form message that means nothing at all. If you are looking for a company for digital distribution, LOOK ELSEWHERE. They hold your money and often are extremely slow to release your royalties to you. You've been warned.

The conversion to V2 has apparently destroyed all the data I have amassed over 10 years as a ReverbNation user. I cannot access the data on the live site or the "legacy" as was promised. RN support has been laughable. They responded directly only once to confirm the issue still existed. No further follow up besides an automated email saying anthey haven't heard from me in 3 days and asking me to confirm whether the issue exists. I have answered all of these to confirm and asked them to call me. Apparently they don't have phones.

I would have fired these guys already if not for the hope I will get my data back.

Many of the most important functions are no available in the new version...You can't connect lyrics and images to a song and the song after upload can not be edited. If you want to place a song in a different order than at the top of your song list...it is impossible to change song order. Soundlick has much better functionality and is much easier to use.

After many years with ReverbNation, I am done. This new website V2 which rolled out on 8/2/26 is horrible. Not user friendly. They removed ranking, removed cover profile pictures and the Music embed or player does not work at all. Whomever thought of this should be fired! Period! This website is going to cost them when more musicians leave.

They are a bit dodge i guess. Always saying 'you've been selected' for this and that but of course, only if you pay. Their new V2 website is awful so we are leaving after many years. i sometimes found it useful for some things. opportunities has worked on a couple of occasions (in all those years) but no real affect apart from nice indie stations that i could've approched myself anyway, and one time the guy offering the opportunity was just trying to get money out of us (and a few K!!). Paid for 'reviews' that 'gets you on their home page 'sometimes' We scored on a number of occasions over the 7.5 threshold and on at least one were never featured as promised. We haven't done another for years, as they are weird..you get comments moaning about an organ when there is no f***ing organ in the track type of thing. And double reviews (copied and pasted abviously). Getting a feature on their 'homepage' is also pointless. They sell it as a big thing but in reality you will be visible for a day or two at most (as too many of us fall for it). We have been number one in the UK and number 2 in the world on their charts, but adds nothing to our band. All these sites are actually just bleeding money from hard working musicians and bands. Enough is enough.

This website looks more like a scam. The uploads are severely limited, and all the features are paid, with the promise of being matched with a label. So far, it seems like a scam to me.

If it feels like a bit of a scam, it probably is a scam. Disingenuous promotions, terrible customer service, near on impossible to cancel services on their site., I personally found this site a waste of time. Avoid.

... well all I can say is... all of these so called MUSIC SITES should pay us for our Music,(( as it was in the old days of MusicBusiness...)) but we let them fool ourselves because you long for FAme, but let me tell you.... if you give money to these folk or frutless music web sites: you deserve to be fooled... 'cus this means you're so Naive... got it...cold fact. no offence meant to anybody. peace y'all. Sleeyo.

Their player doesn't even work properly, therefore losing you plays - AVOID!

Terrible site with a music player that always gets stuck, therefore costing me plays. The customer service suggested everything I CAN DO to fix this ( none of which worked )
It would seem to me that they cannot even get a player that actually plays. I am in the process of moving to Soundcloud, Soundclick and Bandcamp because in my opinion Reverbnation have become the worst site to host your music out there.

I have been a customer of ReverbNation since 2010 but recently cancelled my subscription and moved my distribution to TuneCore.
Their customer service is very bad - due to an error at their end they had temporarily cancelled my subscription and removed all my music from streaming services within 24 hours, without even the willingness to rectify the issue.
Only after I told them that I would move over to a different distributor after a few weeks they tried to resolve it, but it was a massive disappointment.
I am now at TuneCore and happier than ever with a great service and a reasonable price.
ReverbNation is massively overpriced and definitely not worth a single cent due to their bad customer service. I would recommend to stay away from them.

No different than a fake slots game. You give money and numbers just change. No value whatsoever. This website is a scam.

This company rules I love it.

People have been going onto my music page, stealing my songs right off of it and reposting using different song titles. They've been posting my music on pages without my knowledge as well. I have emailed reverbnation support, but they are unresponsive and direct you to one of their articles on how to upload songs. There is a song I wrote 22 years ago and uploaded it from a digital multitracker onto my reverbnation page. I recently discovered someone went in and took that song off, and replaced it with the song that is immediately after it. When you go into the song you can still see the lyrics from the correct song that used to be there. I haven't touched my music page in over a year and have not removed or changed any songs so I have no idea how this could have happened. It appears one of my better songs is gone forever. It will be tedious for me to locate my old CDs and re-upload this song (I'd I can find it). It might be gone forever. This is a huge disappointment. I fracking hate Reverbnation now. Thanks a lot. The platform sucks and has done nothing for me except cause problems.

Scam they stole $20.00 from me.
