Ordered this on Friday afternoon and received item on Saturday morning. Incredibly fast delivery and costume was as expected. Will definitely be using this company again!!! Highly recommend.

The item itself arrived quickly and was good quality for the price but I decided to change my costume at the last minute. Unfortunately, that's where the problem started.
I returned my order and received a refund no problem, however was not refunded for the original postage which should have happened under distance selling regs as I was returning my entire order. Clearly, though, this company aren't up to date with their legal knowledge as I received a rather rude response telling me, "It is not mandatory for a company to offer free returns, we do state on our returns policy page that postage is not refundable. I think there is currently only 1 fancy dress company to offer free returns out of around 500+ companies".
I reiterated that I was not requesting a refund for the return postage, just the original, outward postage and quoted the regs but did not receive a reply. When I chased, I was told "they had been very busy" (even though it took them exactly 2 minutes and 40 seconds to reply!) and would refund me today. There was no apology or admission of their error, despite clearly realising they had made a mistake.
In summary; good site, good products but customer care needs a lot of work!

Very easy and straightforward website. Some great products and good prices. Delivery was prompt and postage was reasonable. I like the extra touches like the follow up email to rate the products with FB Likes and Google +1's (although I wouldn't want to alert some of the present recipients so didn't use it myself) I would definitely recommend this company and website - they know what they're doing - no joke.

I ordered the Mario and Peach outfits for a fancy dress party. Unfortunately rhe Mario costume was too small so I had to return, which was no hassle at all. I received my refund quickly and efficiently. The peach costume was perfect, not great quality but you get what you pay for. Thanks to online joke shop, would definately recommend to future buyers.

Research showed these people to have lowest price on the net. Ordered late Friday afternoon with cheapest delivery option, and it arrived next day. Well done!

Found the cosutme I wanted, and they were the cheapest online. It arrived in 2-3 days, despite using the slowest free delivery option. Item was in perfect condition, brand new etc.

I would definitely use them again (maybe even if they weren't the cheapest).

Very happy with my daughters Halloween outfit, better quality and price compared to what you'd find in the supermarket. Postage prices were more than reasonable. After looking round the website and seeing what else online jokeshop sell i'm sure i'll be back!

Although we were happy with the costumes (popeye and Olive Oyl) the Olive Oyl wig had arrived in a faulty state and could not be repaired. I emailed the company who said they would send a replacement wig out the next day, this was a week before the party. Three days before the party the wig had not arrived. I sent another email asking if there had been a problem shipping and then an email a day later with concerns about not having the wig for the party. Both of these emails were IGNORED. I am still trying to resolve the situation.

First off, beware; this company remove all negative comments from their Facebook page.

I spent the day waiting in for a delivery only to be told at 5PM that a mistake had been made, and I'd wasted the entire day waiting for a Halloween costume.

When it finally arrived a day late (I had paid for next day delivery in the first place) it was too late, I'd already set off for a weekend away.

On examination, the outfit is cheap and nasty anyway, it'll go straight in the bin.

Total wasters.

after looking around for a dracula costume for my grandson i came across the online joke shop, wanted something little different for him,found purple dracula in sale was here within 2days of ordering and was really pleased with the item so was my grandson great quality and quick postage thankyou for putting big smile on his face !!!!!!

A week ago I ordered a crocodile costume for my son's school assembly. I needed it quickly so I chose next day delivery. Sure enough the costume arrived bright and early the next morning - no complaints there, although I do think £8 for delivery is a bit much! (Oops, I think that was a complaint!)

Anyway, my son came home from school eager to try the costume on before the assembly. Normally I dont mind him wearing fancy dress at home but this was a big mistake. The costume shed little green hairs everywhere he went. A week (and several times around with the vacuum) later and I'm still finding them.

So straight after the assembly I had to lock the costume away in a cupboard and it won't be seeing the light of day again. A [6-year-old] crying shame!

Ordered 2 ghostbuster suits for my nephews and they are great, I was a bit worried about the inflatable proton pack as I wanted to get a more life like one but then realised they may not be able to stand up with them on as they are 3 and 5. Great suits they will love them for Christmas

I'm an 18 year old student from Birmingham and I ordered a Gladiator mask for halloween to resemble one of my favourite rappers; MF Doom. They sent me a Cannibal mask - like the one Hannibal Lecter wore. They sent the correct one out the next day, after I rang them, and I have sent back the wrong mask. They said they would refund the postage it cost me to return it, but as soon as I said I had sent it, I haven't received an email or refund from them.

I ordered a Halloween costume online. It arrived within 2 days which was great but when I opened it, the elastic on the mask was broken on one side so I had to return it as faulty. I checked their returns policy on the website and it says that I can get a full refund or replacement. If the item is faulty then they would refund my postage costs. I sent the item back using Royal Mail's 1st Class Recorded Delivery service which cost me £3.65. The company have refunded me for the item but not for the postage so now I am having to chase them up for this. I culd really do without the hassle to be honest.

Overall disappointed with communications. I purchased an item a week ago and I’m still yet to receive confirmation that the item has ( or has not ) been shipped. No offer of a tracking number, nor thank you for payment. The only thing I did get was confirmation of payment from PayPal ( a third party company )

I would recommend people using this site to buy costumes> my son wore the gladiator costume to a party and everyone loved it. He still likes to wear it at home a lot. authentic looking and great value.
